Brian is the most professional, organized & respectful designer I have ever worked with in 19 years. I have worked with many designers & he is by far above the rest in every aspect. He will be one of the only design professionals I go to when I design homes.

At the end of 2015, my husband and I and two children bought a house that was about 1/4 of the way built. On one hand it was exciting, we could pick out every detail and make the house exactly what we wanted it to be. On the other hand, completely overwhelming. It was a huge job and I couldn't do it alone. After admiring Brian Watford's work I had seen in design magazines, I was lucky enough to be able to hire him to execute the enormous task of bringing our house together and making it all I imagined it would be. Before we could even get to the furnishings of the almost 7000sq ft house, there were plumbing fixtures, light fixtures (interior & exterior), paint, bathroom tile & countertops, kitchen tile & countertops, bathroom cabinets, kitchen cabinets, etc to pick out, all while having our budget in mind...the list was longer than I even imagined. The job was bigger than I ever imagined. After many conversations Brian knew the look I wanted for the house and for our family. He was detailed and organized and responsive to my MANY questions. To say that I couldn't have pulled completing the house off without him, is a huge understatement. We eventually got to the phase of furnishing the home, which we were doing from top to bottom. It was time to find pieces for every bedroom, the living room, the dining room, the office, basement, etc as well as drapery and art and accessories. Another huge job and Brian executed the plan and design beautifully. Our home is lovely and comfortable and livable. Brian is an immensely artistic and brilliant designer. From the day we hired Brian, we would meet just about once a week. He was always ready and professional and had a plan for what needed to be decided on that week. Through his direction and hard work and skill, we did it. There are times, in the middle of our familys' chaotic days, as I am running through the house to grab this or that as we head out the door that I am stopped in my tracks. I look around and realize I'm so grateful that I live in this lovely home that was designed by such an amazing and gifted talent. I am so thankful for Brian Watford.

We engaged Brian in 2008 to design our Atlanta townhouse from top to bottom and it was stunning. He blended existing furnishings, updated some, made additions and staged our art in the right locations. Brian discovers your style, budget, needs and never fails to deliver. Our initial experience was such a success we engaged Brian to redesign our Old Town Alexandria. We worked through photo, floor plans, and conference call to design what is now an amazing transformation. I highly recommend Brian. He is intuitive, responsive, practical and delivers amazing results!

We've worked with Brian on two homes, three different occasions and with varying budgets. He is a pleasure to work with and can adapt to different aesthetic pov's but will appropriately push you a bit outside of your comfort zone if you let him...(recommended for the best results!). His resourcefulness and your avoidance of costly mistakes will probably save you money in the end. Go in with a clear budget, timeline and prioritized agenda.

My husband and I hired Brian from the start of construction for our new home. The project is not complete so can not speak for finished project. Have been more than happy so far with the time spent with Brian. He has been very professional, transparent, organized, easy and enjoyable to work with.
