I can’t say enough of how pleased I am with Top Drawer and his team. They listened to my concerns and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Once you find someone with the skill set and trust, it’s so easy to keep adding projects. As a single woman, it’s always a challenge to have strangers in the house. Every person who worked in my house provided skill and attention to detail and made me feel comfortable. They wanted to be sure I was satisfied at every stage. My house is old and so are all the fixtures, plumbing, etc. They were able to identify problems and find solutions even though parts are no longer available.

When it came to renovating our kitchen, finding the right cabinetry company was paramount. We wanted elegance, durability, and most importantly, a partner who understood our vision and could meticulously transform it into reality. Thankfully, we found Top Drawer Cabinetry, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. Craftsmanship Beyond Compare: From the initial consultation to the final installation, Todd passion for his craft was evident. He worked closely with us, patiently refining the design until it perfectly reflected our needs and aesthetic. The attention to detail in the construction was phenomenal. The solid wood cabinets were flawlessly finished, boasting seamless joints and intricate trim work. Every drawer glided effortlessly on premium hardware, and the custom-built pantry shelves were a masterclass in functionality and space utilization. Service That's Second to None:

Todd did an outstanding job of repairing a large amount of rotted wood in the frame of my front porch that covers the entire width of the house. He also installed the Timber Tech floor on the porch. The quality of his work and attention to detail is wonderful. Todd does a great job of trouble shooting the problems that this type of repair job created. His knowledge and experience are very impressive. The cost of this large project was very fair and appropriate. This is the second project that Todd has done at my home. He remodeled my family room, doing a great job.

We recently returned home from a two week vacation to find a water leak had developed in our kitchen and leaked for the entire duration of our time away. We had hardwood floors buckling, cabinets warped, countertops raising and a host of other issues, basically your worst nightmare. This was not confined to our main kitchen as the water that had leaked upstairs had also ruined the basement kitchen that was directly below. After remediation we were left with a sizable project that include new cabinets, new countertops, new flooring to include carpet, hardwood and tile, and new appliances. You name it we needed it fixed, painted or replaced. After ordering cabinets through a local vendor we were introduced to Todd and Top Drawer Carpentry. Not wanting to deal with numerous contractors and numerous timelines we asked Todd if he were interested in giving us a quote on completing the entire job under his umbrella. To make a long story short we could not have made a better decision. Todd’s quote was very concise and very reasonable, and clear start dates and finish dates were outlined. Throughout the process Todd always kept in contact with project status and updated timelines. The work was performed to a very high standard and in a pleasant manner and we could not be happier with the finished product. I would not hesitate to recommend Todd and Top Drawer Carpentry to anyone!

Everything about working with Todd on our full bathroom remodel was a pleasure. From scheduling our initial consultation to nailing down details to the finished prodect, everything went very smoothly. Todd was very responsive to my questions (of which there were many), he explained the process very clearly, had a detailed proposal and timeline, and was always professional. He kept us in the loop every step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate to use Todd again on our next project, and would enthsiastically recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch contractor. Our bathroom looks beautiful thanks to his experience and skill!

We met Todd in 2020 to renovate our backyard and liked him so much we hired him to renovate our boys’ bathroom before we even started on our deck! Both projects turned out great but most importantly Todd was reliable, trustworthy and extremely communicative. In fact, we seldom had to proactively seek him out for answers to our questions because he provided such well-written and frequent updates. Happy to be a reference for Todd and will certainly use him for future projects.

Todd is an absolute pleasure to work with. He makes sure you are kept in the loop throughout the project responding to emails and questions promptly. He and the professionals he brought into our project were not happy until we were happy. More to the point, the quality of the work is top notch. We are planning some additional work and will use Todd and his team on it. If you have Top Drawer Carpentry doing the work on your project, then you when the contractor lottery.

Todd is a pleasure to work with. We have worked through city of the chicago additions with him. No problems with communication, inspections and project competition. He has a guy for everything which is great when you are doing residential and commercial work. He is very professional and turns around proposals quickly which is a huge plus from a GC. Highly recommend and hope to team up on many future projects.
