David and his team did an excellent job renovating our basement. We wanted to get rid of the secondary suite classification in our home by removing the basement kitchen, so we were grateful to have found David's company on Google. From the beginning, they had their own designer/architect create the drawings that were required by the city to complete this kind of work. After we got the permit, his team then came with all the materials they needed and finished the job within a prompt time frame. They went out and bought new materials, such as paint/floor pieces, when necessary. His team also helped us with some cosmetic work around the house outside of the scope of work they were assigned to do. David or another member of his team was always reachable via phone/email. Just one thing to be aware of is that our permit took a very long time (about 3 months) to acquire due to multiple iterations of design work having to be submitted to the city, but that can vary case by case. Overall, I would definitely recommend David and his team for any kind of renovation work.

As first time homebuyers and having never done anything on the scale of this reno (full kitchen and bathroom) we were a bit nervous about the process. After speaking to several contractors we met David and knew we were in good hands. He communicated all of the relevant details, decisions and walked us through things we didn't understand. We live in a condo building and David was great working with the strata Council, building management and our neighbours to make the process as smooth as possible. He was transparent in costs and was clear about any changes in scope, giving us the right information to make decisions. You can tell he really cares about the end product and takes a lot of pride in the work he does. We are very happy with how everything turned out, our house feels like a home and we would recommend David to others who are looking for someone diligent and also fun to work with. David is honest and conscientious and is building his business thoughtfully, with determination and organization. I particularly appreciated the clarity and detail of his invoices. This takes extra work on his part but really shows how things are being costed. The receipts and other paperwork are also easy to download and record for tax or other budgeting purposes and his communication is good. The work itself is solid and done properly. David inspects and redoes anything that hasn't met his quality standards. I feel confident to recommend Peak Performance Renovations.

I just finished a home interior renovation with Peak Performance Renovations team and all I have to say is that they are the easiest company to work with, they went beyond their duties to make sure the job is accomplished with quality and on time. David did a great job doing post tenancy renovations. He completed the job in a timely manner and handled everything professionally. I would highly recommend his services.

David was very helpful, communicates well and is super professional. We had plumbing, laundry area waterproofing, toilet repairing, and other ad-hoc repairing done, and he delivered what he promised so would highly recommend him.

Top tier service. Our dishwasher had been causing us issues for many months and their solution fixed it permanently in a very fast, professional, and cost effective manner. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed!

Unfortunately we had several unprofessional and frustrating experiences with David from Peak Performance Renovations. He completed several small jobs around our building but this did not come without serious concerns and ongoing problems. He caused damage in our building, a broken window in a condo as well as he broke our parking garage door which he did not fix. The last situation was an ongoing job that should have taken a day which took over six months to complete. We prepaid as per his request for all the work and supplies and when he finally came back on-site to complete the job he got very aggressive and angry about the quote not matching the scope of work needed. He was the one who provided us the estimate and charged us for it. I of course questioned his sudden change of estimate and he got very angry, insulted our building and me and told me he “had staff to pay and other expenses and this is why things cost so much”. I politely reminded him that he had provided us with a complete estimate and had already paid him for that scope of work, he reluctantly agreed to come back and finish the job. Unfortunately this is not where the issues ended. He arrived the day scheduled to complete the job and could not complete it because he had not preordered any of the supplies, this shows a lot of unprofessionalism and poor planning. He then purchased the incorrect supplies and had to return them. After all was said and done David then sent us an invoice for the job for the second time. He claimed we had never paid him. I spent the day sending him ledgers, emails confirming payment, confirmation from our accountant confirming the cheque had been cashed, even text message correspondence between us regarding payment and David’s response was “I have yet to be proven wrong, and until I have been I will not be speaking with you”. A day later he sent an email with no apology but rather an excuse that over 7 months previously he had a deposit of a similar amount and this is why he was so confused. This speaks to a very unprofessional records keeping system, an extremely unprofessional estimate process and overall just terrible customer service. I understand things happen and mistakes are made, but hold yourself accountable and do not gaslight clients, raise your voice at them or treat them the way you do.

We had a bathroom reno done on time and on short notice. I think he even finished slightly ahead of schedule. Very professional and friendly. Couldn't be happier.

David worked with us on a living room renovation over a month period. He obviously takes pride in his work and we were very happy with the result. He’s hard working, goes the extra mile, is easy to work with and very reliable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and would definitely work with him again.

David took the image I had of my new living room space and made it a reality! He removed an electric fireplace and installed a new baseboard heater, completely changing my usable living space for the better. He also did a painting refresh throughout the condo, and added some feature shelves with lighting. He is very conscientious and professional and I will definitely call on him again for any renovation needs!

We had David come in to fix a few of our plumbing issues in our main bathroom and garage, and we couldn't have been happier with his work! His attention to detail was above and beyond from the moment he started to the clean-up at the end. He is very knowledgeable on all areas and made sure we understood what the problem was and what was going to be replaced and/or fixed. We trusted him to choose the faucets out on our behalf, and he did an amazing job of finding something that looked nice, fit our bathroom style and wasn't overly expensive. He also let us know if there were any other items worth noting, for example, we had no idea that the previous owners had not done a couple of the pipes to code. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he has a friendly professional demeanor and we will definitely be calling him for any fixes or renovations we have in the future! I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a top notch contractor!

David did a bathroom reno for me and it turned out great. I highly recommend and I am going to use him for my next home project as well.

David helped us repair some cracking grout in our 6 year old standing shower. It looks brand new now and the repair is seamless! We had some water leaking through and this is no longer happening. David was very easy to work with leading up to the job. Communication was very clear and fast.

David has a fantastic attention to detail and takes a lot of pride in his work and rightfully so. His communication throughout the project was great. He was always accommodating while I continued to add more repairs and changes to the project. I am very happy with the work that David did for me and the end result looks absolutely fantastic.
