Divine Redesign & Interior Decorating

I have worked with Deborah Goodcare for several years now completely redesigning my home. She has exquisite taste, a fabulous sense of proportion and design, and a great sense of humor, all coupled with a professional, non-nonsense approach. She listens, makes suggestions, then helps you make your home the most beautiful and functional abode it can be. I can't recommend Deborah and Divine Redesign enough!

I have worked with Deborah and Divine Redesign for over 10 years. Deborah has assisted me with my personal residence as well as several luxury properties I have owned over the years. She has provided guidance with paint colors, flooring, furniture and furniture placement, window treatments, hanging art work, framing unique pieces and other special projects. WE NEEDED HELP WITH CHOOSING INTERIOR PAINT COLORS FOR OUR HOME THAT WAS JUST BUILT AND FOUND DEBORAH ONLINE. SHE CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND SELECTED REALLY GREAT PAINT COLORS THAT WERE PERFECT FOR OUR INTERIOR FURNISHINGS. SHE PROVIDED US WITH HER PAINTING CONTRACTOR WHO DID AN AWESOME JOB. SHE IS A JOY TO WORK WITH AND HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. ABOUT A YEAR LATER WE WERE LOOKING TO REPLACE OUR LIVING ROOM SECTIONAL AND SHE WAS THE FIRST ONE THAT WE THOUGHT OF TO CALL FOR HELP. SHE MET US AT HER FAVORITE FURNITURE STORE AND AFTER DISCUSSING THE LAYOUT AND WHAT WE WANTED FOR SEATING, SHE PICKED OUT A SOFA AND TWO RECLINERS WITH UPHOLSTERY THAT WE REALLY LIKE. SHE REALLY SAVED US A LOT OF TIME. WE LOVE WORKING WITH DEBORAH AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.

I am happy to say that I found a great decorator. Deborah measured the room and my pieces of furniture and made the best use of what I had. She then made a plan for pieces to add and made it very logical. I found her easy to work with and made the whole process fun.

Deborah was instrumental on design choices and coordination of our lovely Arizona kitchen remodel in 2014, and second home interior repainting and fixture upgrades in 2018-2019. Her access to area service providers such as painters, electricians, plasterers, carpet install etc. is immensely helpful! She is consistently professional, attentive to timelines, and a pleasure to work with!

For nearly 20 years, my husband and I have relied on Deborah to help us with many different design projects. The first project she did for us was to take the furniture and accessories we had in our house and re-arrange them into a much more pleasing design. We were amazed with her imagination and ability to initiate simple changes that made a world of difference in the functionality and beauty of our home. The second project we tackled was on a much larger scale. After we purchased a new house, Deborah was with us from the beginning to turn our house into the home we desired. Deborah's knowledge of design and color, and her relationships with vendors, made our task so much easier. Deborah was wonderful to work with and always returned our calls and texts promptly. When we think back on everything that Deborah helped us with, we are amazed. She suggested paint colors and composed a furniture plan. She created a color chart for our home, with paint samples for every room in the house. Her recommendation for a painter was spot-on. Deborah helped us select the perfect light fixtures. She guided us in choosing mat colors and frames for our art and helped us determine where to hang the artwork. Deborah's expertise in hanging artwork is amazing! Even today, no matter what we bring home to add to our art collection, Deborah can find the ideal place for it in our house. Deborah has helped us re-do the master bedroom, add window coverings to other rooms in the house, pick out the perfect furniture to replace and add to what we already have, select new carpeting, and complete many other projects. Deborah is a lovely person. My husband and I find her so easy to work with and are always amazed at her innovative ideas. Deborah respects our opinions and works closely with us to determine the final design. We cannot recommend Deborah highly enough. You will be delighted to know her and delight in her work.

Deborah was always accessible and provided excellent recommendations related to flooring, painting, lighting (it's awesome) and moving day furniture deployment. I don't know how I'd have survived our recent move without her support. Highly recommend!

Deborah has designed 3 house for me and my daughter. She is amazing! She has a wonderful sense of space and color. I find her pricing very reasonable and her contractors are excellent. She pays a great deal of attention to your style, not hers, so the result is about you. Hire Deborah!!!

Redesigned our house; hung pictures. Selected items for move to apartment, placed furniture, hung pictures. Improved many pictures by re framing. Has a great design and redesign 'eye.' Has been a great help to us and a a good friend for years. Prompt, efficient and fair in her billing. We highly recommend Deborah!

I have known Deborah Goodacre from Divine Redesign since I remodeled my house in 2017 and 2018. I have hired her back, again and again, for additional projects until the end of 2019. I am waiting currently for additional consulting from her, which is in "pause" due to required social distancing from Covid19. Deborah helped with advice for my kitchen, floors, bathroom, paint color, framing art and decorating. She looked over kitchen and bathroom designs, went with me to pick up tiles and quartz, narrowed down color palette for whole house, and went as well with me to pick up lights. She also had input on area rugs and art and helped me pick up furniture. She hanged all art with perfect harmony. Deborah was always a call away and answered every question in a friendly professional way. She has an easy going demeanor and has great advice. However, the most important quality Deborah has, is that she understands what matters to me. She knew I wanted a warm home where people felt welcome not a house for a magazine display. She understood my art reflected my heritage and honored this as she decorated my home. She valued through her work, what I valued. And that is why I have had her come over and over and there has been no project too small for her. She gets always 5 STARS!

It was such a pleasure to work with Deborah at Divine Redesign. Her approach was very practical and honest in giving advice on changes that could be made to give our home the "make over" I was looking for. With the purchase of furniture that I wanted to replace and keeping items (per her advice) that was not necessary to replace, adding some color here and there just brought everything together. Looking forward to working with her when I am ready to do other parts of the house.

When we moved nothing fit. All the beautiful furnishing we had brought with us just didn’t fit. We pushed and pulled and moved things around but the house wasn’t comfortable and just looked awful. I was in tears. Then I called Deborah! She sent me out for coffee and then she and her crew pushed and pulled and moved things around. I returned to find my home totally transformed. All my furnishings were the same, they were just put together to fit the space. Every room was inviting and comfortable. It was so much more than I every expected and enough to make a grown women cry! Deborah then helped me choose paint colors and lighting, reframe and hang artwork and change window treatments. Everyone who visited my home after that asked if it was a model home. Deborah has a unique ability to see space and color and can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. I would certainly call on her again.
