Imagine inheriting the house you grew up in and having the chance to put your personal stamp on it. My favorite rooms to design are living rooms. This client (male) is single and I suspected he would not use the living room at all but with 13' ceilings and a masonry fireplace 10' wide... Anyway, he was a delight to work with. Everything in the photo is new. He has some great photos of Europe he took years ago. I had them matted and framed. Many water colors of his father's were reframed and are in the adjacent dining room. He does sit in there and his dog loves the new sofa! Truly one of my very favorite clients and rooms to furnish. He was so easy to work with; loved all my suggestions.
