Design Details

Our kitchen was dark and did not function well. Charles designed a wonderful kitchen for us, creating a bright, inviting and functional space. In addition, the overall flow and feel of adjacent spaces were improved through strategically changing placement and size of door ways. Working with Charles was a pleasure!

Charles did a fantastic job with our kitchen. This was a renovation in a hundred year old house. The existing kitchen had very little counter space and the storage space was poorly organized. Charles saw the potential and figured out how to reconfigure the space to give us lots of counter space and lots of well-organized storage. The new kitchen is a dream to work in. In addition, Charles helped us developed the right aesthetic. We had ideas about the styles we like and he was able to work with our tastes and develop a design that is truly stunning. To carry out the project, we worked with Charles's preferred contractor and it really was the "A" Team. Every aspect of the workmanship and attention to detail was first rate. And we did all of this during a pandemic. The team was careful about wearing masks and maintaining distance. They did a great job of containing the mess and cleaning up every day. Now I have the kitchen of my dreams. I highly recommend Charles and his colleagues!

When we undertook this major renovation project, we had little idea of all the decisions that lay ahead of us. We are very grateful that our architect connected us with Charles, who turned an overwhelming project into a series of expertly guided design choices, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Our goal was to create a warm, open kitchen in as environmentally friendly way as possible, and thanks to Charles' expertise in materials and products and his creativity in design solutions, we were able to realize the dream. Working with him was a joy, as he is a good listener with a sparkling sense of humor. At every step along the way, he guided our decisions with patience and good advice, and made the whole process feel like an adventure! We are spending many enjoyable hours cooking and hosting friends in this delightful space.

I knew I was in over my head. My 1966 kitchen needed a major redesign. When I met with Charles I immediately knew that he could help. He was knowledgeable and professional. He really listened to my ideas and concerns, but also let me know when my ideas weren’t the best option. In the end I have a beautiful new space. Charles was invaluable!

Charles was an excellent designer to work with for our kitchen remodel. He gave us several different plan ideas, and was very responsive to our ideas, wants and needs. He definitely helped us immensely through all the decisions we had to make, and we are very happy with the result! It was a pleasure working with Charles. From the start and throughout the process he was responsive, considerate and genuinely enthused with the project I had in mind. Further, even though I had hired a general contractor I felt like Charles served as a secondary GC. He was a constant sounding board for me. And specific to the cabinetry he designed and eventually delivered, I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned.

The kitchen which Charles designed and built for my Cape Cod home is amazingly beautiful. It has been a couple of years now and we enjoy its aesthetic look, proportions, shapes and forms. On a recent visit, my 30-year-old son looked with amazement and asked me where I found this kitchen. Charles has a list of special manufacturers and suppliers who offer the high-quality products at competitive prices. My kitchen cabinets are made with eco-friendly materials and came at a very reasonable cost. All the work which was supervised by Charles was done in a timely fashion with no delays.

Charles was an excellent interior architect for our home in Nantucket. He provided the highest level of service and was wonderful to work with. He is a great listener and has a sophisticated design aesthetic. Thank you so much Charles.
