Doreen was very encouraging and provided expert direction for the re-decorating of our dining room. She helped us with the furniture purchase, layout, drapery re-design, and paint color! I would recommend her services!

Doreen has an excellent eye for design. She listens to what her clients are looking for, makes great suggestions, and keeps budget in mind. She helped us do all of the window coverings in our new home, and they look amazing! Doreen even followed up with us over a year later when we were having an issue with one of the pleated blinds.

Doreen is excellent at listening to what the client wants and giving them options. She understands whom to give a lot of options to, versus those who need a very narrowed focus to make a decision. As a custom home builder, I consider her an excellent investment. She takes many tasks, from color consultations to granite selections and kitchen design, off of my plate. Many clients end up utilizing her services for the decorating after their home is complete.

We are extremely happy with Doreen's work as the interior designer for the new home that we built. Doreen has exceptional taste and a great design eye, and she knew exactly what colors and patterns worked for our home. Doreen had a great sense of our style and did a wonderful job in helping us make design choices. Doreen helped us choose almost every design element of our house during construction, including bathroom and kitchen tile, paint colors, cabinet styles/colors, lighting, carpet, flooring and exterior finishes. Doreen was always very responsive, knew the right questions to ask and always got the project done on time. Doreen would even make time for us on extremely short notice because she genuinely cared about every detail of our home project and wanted to make sure that we were happy. At the end of construction, Doreen even helped us pick out window treatments and family room furniture. We are extremely happy with the results and credit Doreen for designing our beautifully decorated home. We will definitely call on Doreen for any future decorating projects!

Her attention the detail is amazing. I love her Creativity and on a personal/professional level she set the Bar pretty high. Her staff is friendly and efficient as well. She has surrounded herself with a great team.

Doreen has transformed our dining room, foyer and family room. She has an incredible sense of style, a long history of working with clients and an extensive portfolio of projects. Her sense of style coupled with understanding what we wanted has resulted in an amazing transformation of our living space.

I have worked with Doreen Schweitzer Interiors several times over the last 10 years. I was referred to Doreen from my Mother who has used Doreen to decorate her house in Naperville and well as her custom built house in Florida. Doreen has also assisted in decorating both of my sisters homes as well. Our relationship started with her helping decorate my townhome, then to her assisting and choosing all the finishes for my custom home, and finally we are slowly decorating my home on a room to room basis.. Doreen is very professional and prompt. I called her 5 weeks before my son's baptism and she was able to pull together window treatments, furniture and accessories in that short period of time. In addition she was present during the window treatment install, as well as hanging photos and paintings. As I am slowly putting the finishing touches on my house I will continue to call Doreen for her support. I truly enjoy working with her and would definitely recommend her services to anyone needing design work.

I have been working with Doreen Schweitzer for over 15 years and 3 homes. I have complete faith in Doreen and the options she provides me. Doreen and I have always worked very well together. She has always respected my ideas and decisions. She is so creative, as well as so knowledgable. I have worked with Doreen for years while trying to furnish my home. As you probably know, it's never done, because as you finish one room, the next one needs to be redone. Doreen has been great in helping me tie together my different themes, like oversized furniture. My house truly feels like a home thanks to Doreen. I own a townhome, one of 20 identical units. When I refinancied my home in 2010, my home appraised for $40,000 more then an identical unit. I chalked it up to a lucky appraisal. When I refinacied again in 2012, I again appraised for $40,000. This time I say it's because of Doreen Schweitzer Interiors!

When I moved into my townhome, I engaged Doreen to help me achieve a living space that blended family pieces with contemporary furniture and accents. I wanted a home that combined comfort, simplicity and functionality. The scope of the project included paint selection for the entire townhome, furniture, carpet selection, lighting, art and accents. Doreen's knowledge and experience brought focus and consistency to the project. She did an outstanding job, and her work has received many compliments from my family and friends.
