I have gotten to know Elizabeth and her team at In-Site on a personal level and I have heard great things from several shared clients in the industry professionally. They have had excellent experiences with the team throughout the course of several projects and continue returning as satisfied customers. Their designs look beautiful, and the Luxury Home Collection is pure genius; high end design in an easily accessible package, with selections for every price point. From start to finish, In-Site handles every project with the utmost attention to detail while still remaining budget conscience.

In-Site did an incredible job renovating our kitchen/family room to help to sell our Chappaqua home. We loved Elizabeth’s work and the living room she’d designed for us a couple of years earlier, so we knew she was the right choice to transform the dark, dated space. In-Site understood this was not a total re-do, we were not changing the footprint or swapping out/re-furbishing the cabinetry. Their first step was to open things up and improve the flow by removing a massive stove hood and replacing it with three tiffany pendant lights. The orange countertops and backsplash were replaced with a sumptuous continuous slab of blue, gray granite, and a backsplash of tumbled marble and brass decorative accent tiles. Decorative moldings were added to “finish” the base cabinets and new stainless steel appliances were selected and installed. The ‘brick’ linoleum was replaced with beautifully nuanced wide plank hickory flooring, which helped unite the kitchen and family room and added a warmth and luster to the space. The dark wood paneling, moldings, and ceiling beams were stained a warm white to brighten, and a pearl gray paint on the walls freshened the space. We couldn’t believe what a difference it all made. We sold the house and are already starting to talk to In-Site about the possibilities of our new home.

Horrible experience. We hired Elizabeth to do our house. She charges an arm and a leg, but that would be good if she was half worth it. We wasted $22,000 with her. Truth be told, there was a very small balance we decided not to pay because everything until this point went so wrong through her suggestions that it ended up costing me more that I paid her all together. From incorrect fireplace mantel design, to stones on the tiles in the master bathroom shower (which fell off), to tile quantity order mistakes (miscalculations), to molding size mistakes (huge oversized moldings that don't fit), etc etc. In the middle of the project we had to fire her... You would think after losing tens of thousands of dollars she would be ok with leaving a small balance, but no, she ended up SUING ME. Stay far away people! I do real estate development for a living and deal with trades people all the time. This is not the one to deal with.

It's so disappointing that after helping to create a beautiful home for the Zirkiev's we should receive these comments after trying to collect a debt. We designed beautiful spaces, but we did not work on the fireplace design nor can we accept responsibility for poor construction quality or product ordering that was out of our control.

Before starting work on any ground-up construction of the many private homes we work on, we provide a detail of the project process, along with the estimate of hours. A professionally-designed space takes time and much communication between the client, designer and contractor, including many detailed drawings and on-site meetings. From budgeting, to floor plans, to materials selection, we work closely with the client to deliver the highest quality of design and materials, within the client’s budget. This process was no different for Zirkiev.

To keep costs down, Mr. Zirkiev retained our design services for only certain rooms, and handled the project management process himself. The Zirkiev’s were involved in every one of the product decisions made for the project, including all tiles and moldings.

It is never gratifying to be put in the position to pursue a legal avenue to be paid for work completed, but as for any small business owner, there is sometimes no choice but to do so.

Elizabeth changed my apartment from a nice place with a gorgeous view into a gorgeous home! I love walking into my place and so does everyone who enters home. The ream was exceptional and responsive to my needs. I hired Elizabeth for a smaller project at my mom's townhouse and she created the same magic there too! My mom felt comfortable working with Elizabeth and loved the final design of her new home!

Commented: What color and material is on the countertop by the sinkThe countertop on the vanity is a marble. This was called Pietra Rosa but each stone yard has their own names for stone. It has a wonderful golden coloration with rust colored veins.
