Full Circle Construction

This company did a full reno for us. They went by My Upgrade Living Inc. when they did our reno. The reno was ongoing for a full year and eventually they abandoned the project, leaving significant deficiencies. We're discovering more and more deficiencies everyday Some of the issues: 1) Walls have not been patched; the wall-ceiling joints have not been painted enough coats so the colour is different; paint drops and air bubbles on the walls; windows not painted at all on the top; brush strokes everywhere with the previous colour showing in many areas; baseboards have only been primed; paint on windows and doors peeling; pot light holes cut too big so from the side the holes show. 2) Cabinetry for the kitchen and bathrooms have un-patched nail and staple holes everywhere; screws left uncapped; cabinets not aligning; dents and chips; fillers and push-open hardware missing; build-in woodwork for the cook top fan and microwave left half finished; two cabinet doors not closing; some drawers don't open; automatic servo-drive for the under-sink pull out cabinet missing; dishwasher panel hitting the toe-kick so dishwasher can only be opened half-way; cook top fan ventilation not hooked up; etc. 3) Bathroom mirrors chipped; faucets lost and not installed; faucet holes cut too big in the mirror; drain fully clogged in one bathroom and valve trim not installed just put on the valve; granite counter-sink brackets for one of the bathrooms not installed even though they confirmed they had. 4) Dropped ceiling not a straight line by the windows and also has cracks in every corner. 5) Electrical outlet that was supposed to be inside one of the cabinets is placed on the wall behind the cabinet rather than on the cabinet so we have to put our hand behind the cabinet to plug something in and the cut out not straight and above all, the outlet doesn't even work; with many outlets, only one of the plug-ins work. 6) Entry floor transition missing. 7) One of the closet doors missing. 8) A wall that was supposed to be trimmed to make the cabinets flush with the wall not trimmed. 9) Scratches all over the toilet seat in one bathroom. 10) Brand new heaters damaged beyond repair. And the list goes on. Other issues: 1) Didn't compensate us for their construction delay despite an agreement to that effect. 2) Discrepancies in calculation of material costs. 3) Refused to give us receipts. 4) Would not return the keys and only did so after follow-ups weeks after they said they would.

Appreciated the candid costs and timelines and sticking to the schedule more than anything. We are very happy with our addition and our designer did an excellent job keeping the theme throughout our house.

Very happy with my new master bedroom and guest bedroom. I was able to choose among many design options that worked well with the rest of my home. They really did a great job!

We did a full kitchen renovation and it was fantastic! The designer helped us find special deals as we were working with a budget. We were able to open up the kitchen to include an island, installed new cabinets and changed our flooring. The PM and Designer also helped us find appliances on discount that worked with our aesthetics. As expected, the process was a bit stressful but it all came together really well.

Interior was for kitchen cabinets, counters, appliances, backsplash and lighting and all bathroom. Exterior was install hot tub and new artificial grass. Total time was good and the finish was very good, almost at the end.

I renovated my new apartment downtown and they took care of everything. Will work with them again once I'm ready for a bigger place. I do recommend Upgrade as a one and done contractor/designer.

They did a brilliant job with my living room. Designer and PM were super helpful and kind. They responded to all my emails, calls and messages promptly and were very attentive my needs and wants for how I wanted the living room to look. Overall I’m very satisfied with their work and would recommend to friends and family.

Renovated my bathroom with this company and have no regrets whatsoever. They were professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. Their trades workers are skillful and friendly. I did my research before going along with these guys and it’s a good thing I did because I really appreciate their excellent communication in regards to time, clarity, and kindness. Most companies are aware that their clients aren’t knowledgeable about renovation and they use it to their advantage but the transparency with these guys are highly respectable.

I had a very small kitchen and the appliances needed to be replaced. Figured it was the right time to update the whole layout. Worked with Lisa and came up with the idea to take out the wall and add a huge island. Construction is now complete for a couple of months and while only time will tell, it looks great and the mechanisms all seem to be very high quality.

I renovated my living room and the finished look is absolutely amazing. I’m so impressed with the work these guys. I was worried because renovation can be messy and complicating but once everything was complete it was like walking into a brand new house. Thank you for your tireless efforts.

I had a 3 month project with My Upgrade that involved replacing an out dated wood burning fireplace with a gas fireplace and marble mantle, 2 bedrooms flooring and paint, and a full kitchen remodel that including blowing out some walls. The work was complete within the timeframe given and the pricing was fair and completed on budget. The quality was excellent. I am very pleased with their efficiency and prompt communication. There were a few minor defiencies waiting for a couple late materials that were overall insignificant which is something to be expected during the pandemic / shipping limitations. I would definitely work with them again, and I must give my thanks to Giselle for the great design work!

I chose My Upgrade because they promised a 'fixed price' which was a much better experience than my last renovation. I did my research with this company and do reccomend them. Having done a renovation before did help as I knew which questions to ask but overall they are very transparent a d the work itself was done right.
