My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

In 1991, as the housing market began to grow, Galleria Lighting opened their doors. Our first location, Naperville, of 1,200 square feet, offered a sample of each style to meet the needs of new home owners. Now Galleria Lighting is located in a 12,000 square foot location, featuring all of your lighting and home decor needs. We gladly serve all of the Naperville and surrounding Chicago land area. We are many stores under one roof. We also offer seasonal decorations and accessories for most occasions throughout the year from House Warming Parties to Girls Nights Out to holidays including Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have what you are looking for. We are a full service showroom featuring a display of lighting with the latest products and designs. Our knowledgeable staff can help you finish a small design project or help you select lighting and home decor for an entire home. Our staff brings a lot to the table. With interior design backgrounds our staff can provide the help you need to accomplish the look you desire for your home. With the help of our showroom we allow you to see new styles and designs in your search for the perfect design.

My husband and I have purchased from Galleria a few times. They are our go-to first when we are looking for lighting. Although the shop is small, there is lots to choose from--and if you don't see it, they might have it in a catalog for you. The staff is well-trained, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, without being pushy. Our last purchase from them was a unique crystal chandelier for our living room. We had to order the size we wanted, which takes several weeks, but it came in a bit early. Speaking to a staff member about the installation on a vaulted ceiling, we found a great lighting company to do the install. The final product was amazing. We love our chandelier--we will be taking it with us if and when we move!

If you are placing a custom order be fully prepared for it take well beyond the quoted 4-6 weeks. I called 6+ weeks after placing the order wondering where my lights were only to find that the lantern I'd ordered was on backorder and wouldn't be arriving at the distributor for another 4+ weeks. I would've never known of the delay had I not called---absolutely ZERO customer service and/or consideration of timing for the customer (y contractor is already scheduled to install the light which obviously won't be delivered in time.) Apparently the two other lights I'd ordered have been in for weeks but again, they never notified me. Joan was quick to blame the store buyer for not being aware of the delay. She insisted it wasn't her responsibility--which is fine but at least act like you care about your customers. Save yourself time, frustration and money and buy your lighting elsewhere.

Bought 4 lights nobody else had. Unique, and much lower price than anywhere on the internet. Service was outstanding! Highly recommened. A++++. Great overall experience.
