Gates & Croft Horticultural Design

I had a wonderful experience working with Jane Gates and I highly recommend her! Earlier this month, I left messages with several landscape designers in my area - and Jane was the first of 3 to respond. During our initial call, Jane asked many questions about my yard redesign ideas, budget, timeline and the overall look I hoped to achieve. It was very apparent to me that she had both an artistic eye and a project management background combined with her expertise in horticultural design. For those reasons, I chose Jane to develop a landscape design plan for me. During her visit, she took measurements, asked additional questions about color, design concepts and what I wanted to do with my existing plants. I was apparent she was very familiar with my area's micro-climate and which new plants would work best. Then she drew a detailed landscape map that was easy to interpret and which I have brought with me to my nursery to purchase plants and rocks. I found Jane to be professional, courteous, and very, very knowledgeable. I am so glad I listened to my gut and chose to work with her. I hope you do the same!

Not only that, but she was able to tailor her patio-scaping recommendations to me based on my personality, which gave me even more enjoyable results than if she had only based her designs on color, sun, and environmental conditions. I have worked with Jayne of Gates and Croft for over 10 years. She has always done a remarkable job. She takes great pride in her work and makes sure everything is in exactly the right place. I live on a 2 acre property so there is always more landscaping that can be done. Jayne is always up for the challenge. What makes her unique is the variety of plants she chooses.
