Excellent experience! Glen Allen Grounds put in a new paver patio, seating wall, landscaping, and buried our ugly drainage pipes. They were more than professional and patient, considering we were dealing with a very picky and slow HOA approval process. Our yard backs up to a main thoroughfare and we get compliments virtually everyday on how beautiful the yard looks. Every level of staff was a pleasure to work with. Our first set of hydrangeas didn't survive and they replaced them quickly with no questions asked. We highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Glen Allen constructed a new front walk, steps and patio for our home. They also re-graded our front yard, installed sod and planted new shrubs and perennials. We are very pleased with the results. The quality of the work was excellent and the crew was very professional and dependable. I highly recommend this company.

Only went as far as an initial consultation with Will and Glen Allen Grounds Management LLC; however, the overall interaction was below average. I asked Will to come out to my residential property to assess remediation options for drainage issues around three-quarters of my property. Even at the initial hello, he grumbled and clearly wasn't in the mood to interact with anyone. I walked him through the different areas of low spots and after just 5 minutes he surmised that the *only* solution would be to pipe and drain everything to the sidewalk across a neighbor's yard. He said that the job would be massive and wouldn't make sense to do. I asked about some possible other ideas that I had read about but he didn't seem interested in brainstorming any alternative, stop-gap, or creative ideas. For example, drainage tile, drainage buckets, just directing water away from the house, rock gardens, etc. Will seemed stand-off-ish and amused that I was stuck in this situation without a potential alternative recourse. He didn't give any credence to any other ideas. I then asked about moisture around the foundation and he mentioned two services they do; however, he left quickly with really no summary or next steps. No business card, no email, not sure if I'd get a follow-up or anything. My overall impression was that to him, I wasn't worth his time for coming out for a consultation. From this initial interaction, I would not recommend him to others.

Glen Allen Grounds did a great job on my new patio. From the initial meeting to the final touches Eric and his team did a great job. They worked hard and got the job done quick, working around rain etc. They charge a fair price for the quality work they provide and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great outdoor space or any landscaping needs!

So far the work they have done for me has been high quality and the whole process has been very smooth. They have installed mulch, installed trees and shrubs, mowing service, and shrub pruning. Their crew was efficient and did a fine job. Also, their back end process is easy. Communication with the office was simple and paying my invoice was also very simple. In the process of having a patio installed. They have not installed a patio for me but I have been visiting their other jobs as references and like what I see.

We have worked with Glen Allen Grounds on several projects at our home and they have all turned out great. From yard maintenance and pruning, to new drainage and walkway solutions and all new sod, Eric, Will and their team are easy to work with, responsive, professional and do good quality work. I am on the Board of Directors for Church Run Subdivision in Short Pump, VA and oversee the landscaping and maintenance of our neighborhoods entrances. I have used three different landscaping firms in the past and it wasn't until I met Eric Ellington and Will Lane, owners of Glen Allen Grounds Management, that I felt that I had a true landscaping partner that understands the importance of knowing that our entrances are our residents and visitors first impression of our neighborhood. Eric and Will met with me and listened to what was important to me before making recommendations on how to maintain and beautify our entrances. With prior vendors, I was driving the process. I had to call to remind them to mulch, pull weeds, pick up dead limbs, and trim bushes. They also wanted to plant what they put in most of their other projects and would never listen or accept any ideas on new plantings. Eric and Will created a timeline and provided a schedule of the exact work that to be done and when. I never have to remind them to do anything. They are always reachable by text or cell phone and responsive to all of my needs. Our entrances have never looked better and I would highly recommend them for your home or commercial use. They are a true trusted partner!

Glen Allen Grounds Management was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Eric came out to our home to assess some massive drainage issues we were having in our back and side yard / driveway. He came up with a wonderful solution and did a 3D rendering to show us exactly what it would look like. The 3D rendering was particularly helpful because I'm a visual person. His hardscape team was fantastic. They were on time everyday and always cleaned up the work area before leaving for the night. Any and all questions were answered promptly. What I particularly love about Eric and his team is that they were knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and dependable. I could not be happier with the results and would HIGHLY recommend them for any and all landscaping or hardscape needs. Thank you again for everything! Will Lane and his staff from Glen Allen Grounds Management are extremely knowledgeable and they did a first rate job on my yard. I had all of my existing bushes in the front yard taken out and replaced. Will was extremely helpful in our new plant selection and was always available to answer questions. He and his team were punctual and professional and they spent a good bit of time helping my wife and I design our new landscaping. Will's pricing is competitive but what really sold me on using his services was his professionalism and accessibility.
