Handyman Rescue Team

The contact is terrible. I have to contact about 4X from 8am to about 2pm but didn’t hear from the team until afternoon. I was about to call another's company. Greg works was excellent.

My deck sorely needed repair -- years of mold, lots of nails sticking up, a couple of boards rotted, a wobbly railing. Carlos and Alfonso spent three days cleaning and reinforcing the whole structure. It was never a showpiece from the beginning, but it looks a lot better than it did and is much stronger. My goal was to have a solid, safe deck and that's what they did for me. Both men were friendly, professional and efficient. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much they accomplished in a short time. I'd welcome them back on another project anytime.

While I can't speak for how other contractors that work for the Handyman Rescue Team are, my contractor Ro was extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend working with him. - He told me the project would take around 2 days to complete, and it took 5. - Unsure if he really did not know the actual timeframe of his work, but he kept assuring me he would be done "the next day". I don't mind if a project takes longer than expected, but I expect to be told proper estimates rather than false information. - He was late 4 out of 5 days. Each time was over an hour later than what we had discussed the day before, the worst being 2.5 hours late and unreachable. His excuse was that he overslept and his phone had died. - He forgot some basic tools and had to use mine. - He did work on my laundry room. I had no leaks in my valve under the sink before the project started. When he was done, the valve was leaking and actually caused some water damage to my new cabinet. Ro said he would come fix it after the rest of the work was done and I had paid. He then then took back his word and said I would have to create a new project to fix the valve that most likely broke when he was doing the renovations. He said he offered to fix it because it was broken, but it was broken because of him. I don't think that warrants having to pay for a new project. - I tried turning on the washer after he had finished the room. He did not turn the water on after he had left, and when I tried to turn it on it started leaking. The overall work looks decent, but due to all the other issues I can only give them 2 stars.

Great experience with Handyman Rescue Team. They responded quickly to my inquiry and communication was great throughout. DJ and his partner did an excellent job and let me know when things came up that were beyond the scope originally discussed. They replaced a rotted beam holding up our front porch, and it looks good as new. Highly recommend!

Thanks Travis, Doug The railing looks great and yes Doug mentioned he may have some time to spare in March. I will definately refer you guys to others. Looking forward to more projects.

Our shower looks very nice! Carlos (the installer), was informative and explained everything that he was doing and did a good job overall. HRT was also very helpful with my questions and concerns earlier on during the course of the project regarding the weight of the tiles and assessed that the floor is adequately supported.

We needed some general fixes and touch ups before selling our house, and Mark/Handyman Rescue Team did a great job! Definitely would recommend!

Tiled shower: Happy with results. Some of the communications and delays were a little frustrating along the way, but overall, satisfied with final results. It was our first experience with having work like this done, so I understand companies have other jobs going on at the same time, and this impacts priorities. Ideally, it would be nice for the entire process to be quicker. But in the end, the results are great, and they cleaned up very well once job was complete.

Mailbox installation and front door painting. The quality of the work on both jobs was great. Will hire the company again.

We had a fantastic experience with Handyman Rescue Team. I was having trouble finding someone who would take such a "small" job to build a wall in our basement to create a new bedroom. Travis was excellent in coordinating communication and Carlos and his crew did a fantastic job. The quoted price was fair and in line with other quotes we received, but the work was done much faster than other others estimated. The quality is superior and the invoicing system is itemized to show exactly what materials were used. I would highly recommend Handyman Rescue Team for jobs big or small!

Handyman Rescue Team sent a very competent and friendly technician who was quick and very helpful answering all my questions. The model this company uses is really convenient, fair and generally great for the technicians and home owner. I will definitely reach to to them again. I had the hood over my oven range replaced and it was just what I needed.

Always happy with the work these guys do. First job was plaster work by Carlos caused by dripping pipe in wall he cleaned all up in mold protection and partial new ceiling next was Doug. Did porch light fixtures and all is good. Reasonable professionals will hire again.

The price I got was a very good pricing compared to other general contractor. After the job completion, I found some additional touchup that are needed to be done. It was done without additional charge. Highly recommended

Carlos from Handyman Rescue Team did an amazing carpentry job on my property. His level of care was so high, and we felt like we were in such good hands, and the quality of work was above and beyond.

I hired Handyman to do a remodel of my entire condo - redo flooring, new kitchen counters, new bathroom vanities, repaint all the walls, replace all the baseboards, replace water heater and refrigerator. The work was done well, and the communication was excellent. I would hire them again.

Wes did a wonderful job laying our pavers! He exceeded our expectations all the way around. Not many companies go above and beyond to get the job done but this was definitely one of those times when they did. You won’t regret hiring them for your project.

Scheduler responded almost immediately to initial request and easily worked out a few rescheduling needs. Technician was on time, had the right skill set to install a new vanity countertop and sink. He took time to thoroughly check to be sure there were no leaks after reconnecting the plumbing. I am pleased with the results and will use this business in the future.

The guy was nice and the work was great! The cost has gone up by $100 from what I was originally told. It would be more clear to show me what caused the increase.

Awesome job! We hired Handyman Rescue Team to demo a small kitchen in preparation for a full reno. They promptly scheduled us an appointment. Douglas came in and removed and hauled off the kitchen cabinets, counters, sink including the tile floor and backer board. He got it all removed in a day and cleaned up the area. We were very pleased and will use them again! Excellent service!

This company with the pleasure to work with. They were prompt, efficient,responsive,and caring. I'll be honest I was a bit skeptical because prior to working with this team I had a very very bad experience with a prior contractor for services not performed. This team and not only quelled my concerns but impressed me to the point that for future job needs they will be the first and probably the only company I call. Trevis and his team member (Jeff) did a fantastic job with the electrical outlets we needed installed. Came on time and banged out the job relatively quickly; even with the curveballs I threw their way wasn’t a problem. Would def recommend them for any technical jobs you may need done at your home!
