Haven interiors is amazing to work with! Very creative and knowledgeable designers that created cost effective solutions and quality design for my home. Very satisfied and I would highly recommend them .

More than a bit disappointed with them. When interviewing the designer I made it very clear what my budget was. I paid the $500 consulting fee. Not only did he go over my budget, it was missing such things as accessories and lighting, delivery and taxes. I am guessing it would have been 30% more. He picked dining room chairs that were $1,500 a piece. That alone was so beyond my comprehension, that I was shocked. When discussing this he became very angry with me and we terminated the working relationship. It is too bad as I think the sample selections in the office/display are very much my style.

Sorry you were disappointed. The design fee of $450 included two home visits, space planning and layouts, and a studio visit with a presentation of fabrics and furniture ideas. Additional assistance was given in helping you shop for a new wood floor. The designer was aware you had a budget but as we explained, quality custom dining chairs are expensive. You had mentioned you thought you could find some options online which is fine, but we do not do online shopping. We did provide the floor plans to you to help you on your quest.

Julie is AMAZINGLY talented and so much fun! She transformed my townhome from being outdated, to my Oasis! The project included a kitchen and bath remodeling, light fixtures and the purchase of new furniture for the great room. My great room is my favorite, its filled with beautiful furniture that is unique, and the quality will stand up to my family’s lifestyle! I have a small eating area that initially was not usable. Julie ordered a Chaddock table that folds open when I have guests, its so unique! I’ll never get tired of the compliments. The next project is the Master suite, I can’t wait to see what she dreams up! Julie was wonderful to work with and made the process a great experience! J.A.Valencia

I walked into Haven Interior Design having been attracted by the window display just to browse. Interior Designer Julie Basinger Matuck happened to be on the floor and we started talking. I felt an immediate connection and began to put together a room full of furniture. She was patient with me and not pushy at all. Her guidance in this project was priceless and the resulting living room nothing less than stunning!! All of the employees are friendly and helpful. The owners are very nice people. Next time I’m in the market for any interior design project I’ll go see Julie at Haven Design in Geneva!!

We had a great experience with Donna, Jane and the entire Haven Team. When we moved into our new house we hired Donna to help. This was the first time we used a designer and it was a great experience. At our first meeting, I came with lots of magazine and Pinterest pictures. I was all over the board! Donna listened and asked me great questions like, "what about that sofa do you love" and "how do you see yourself using this room"? She took everything in and then got to work. Donna incorporated the things we loved and wanted to keep. The end result is a fresh, beautiful, yet comfy place my husband and I now call Our Home! I completely recommend Haven for any project and budget!
