Cedar + Sage Design

We used Cedar and Sage for one of the largest remodels of our time as home owners. We remodeled the entire upstairs of our home (primary entry, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, and powder bath). Hayley did an exceptional job of listening to our design goals and our likes/dislikes and created an amazing floor plan for the open space we now get to enjoy. We encountered a few issues during demo that altered the original plan and she didn't hesitate to jump in and help with the solution. Her approach to design planning is completely tailored to the customer's needs. We are so impressed with her professionalism and eye for timeless design (if you want something wild she loves that too!). We have more spaces to remodel and won't hesitate to contact Cedar and Sage Design when that time come. Thanks Hayley, you are the BEST!!

Working with Hayley was an all around delightful. Hayley has a lovely aesthetic and has wonderful intuition: she has the uncanny ability to understand what look her clients are going for even if they aren't quite sure! She provides endless options, quick follow up, and is extremely responsive. Hayley helped us with a mudroom/powder room, family room, and entry way remodel. She also assisted in staging/accessorizing some of our bookshelves and cabinets (we have a large bank of glass cabinetry along a wall of our kitchen). Hayley also is excellent in providing a variety of price points and options: she understands that quality items can be sourced at any budget- which is always appreciated! I can't wait to have her back to tackle some of my other home projects.

Hayley helped design both our master bedroom and nursery. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. She took the time to understand our style and what we were looking for and was flexible with my feedback. Since my projects occurred mid-pandemic, she also was great about providing alternatives when there was issues with availability. Hayley also has different packages that are flexible with your needs. For our master, we were basically starting from scratch with the exception of a family made dresser, and Hayley chose all of the furniture and accessories based on our style. For our nursery, I had most of the furniture and even some accessories and art work that I wanted to incorporate from our first child. Hayley took these pieces, added some new accessories, chose paint colors, and designed it in a way that I would never have thought of but absolutely love!

Hayley was the designer for both my loft and for some additional design elements in my great room as well. After working with her over the last month, I have to say she is amazing! First of all, she is passionate and excited about what she does. Secondly, she was readily available for questions throughout this process. Which was very much appreciated with both me being in another state and due to my heavy work schedule, having to often communicate on weekends. Last but not least, I couldn't be more pleased with the way both projects came out looking! She had wonderful ideas, yet really incorporated my style, personality, and input into them as well. She was a pleasure to work with and I already have her locked down for my basement renovation project in the fall! I'm typically not a big review writer, but in this case felt it necessary. Understanding the person and what they value is something that not everyone gets, and Hayley has that gift. She was not afraid of subtly weaving bold and complementary colors together to create a cohesive flow throughout our two story home with cathedral ceilings. There is a lot of space and we were at a loss of what direction to go. Haley was comfortable with the size and choosing colors. I have to confess that when we saw those first colors applied in the living room and entry way we wondered for a bit, however after the paint dried we saw her plan: It shows off our furniture beautifully, complements the warm wood, and has beautiful tone changes throughout the day and evening. Haley is a delight to work with, a part of that is being able to listen and truly hear the client to help them determine style and direction.
