I'm a stone and tile contractor who has worked with Janette Mallory Design for more than two years on numerous projects, involving commercial and high end residential stone and tile work. Janette has just finished designing, planning and executing the top to bottom interior redo of our home in Malibu. There are hardly enough words to express my appreciation for how she went the extra mile again and again to make our home beautiful to look at and wonderful to live in. We wanted something understated but bold and 'out of our box', and still bring a bit of our current home plus bring in the Beach the Ocean view and keep it fresh and open. Janette invested her heart and soul into our dream, her ideas were wonderful, she listened to our feedback, opened up our thinking on how to use the space and made each part of the house flow yet have its own character and personality - and somehow she kept it so that it felt like home not just a design piece. Janette handled every facet of construction and her contractors showed up on time, and were exceptionally easy to work with. We had less than 1 month to move into our new home but Janette Mallory worked wonders in preparing our home. My husband and I both work and with 3-year-old twins, we certainly didn't have time to do it ourselves. Janette came prepared and worked with us to repaint the interior rooms, install new carpeting in the bedrooms, redo the hall bathroom and breakfast room with wallpaper, and coordinate the window dressings all within a very short time frame. She supervised every detail, listened to our design taste, and gave us expert advise. Her contractors were professional and dependable. We are still amazed at how quickly she transformed our home. After the move, Janette helped transform the upstairs loft into my husband's office and "man cave." She designed two walls with custom built in shelves and file cabinets as well as a custom desk and sitting area. The office is still one of our favorite rooms in the house. Janette also transformed one of the bedrooms into a playroom for our girls with fun and durable striped carpeting, a colorful custom sofa bed for sleepovers and coordinating whimsical art work. The playroom still looks fabulous even after 5 years. We highly recommend Janette Mallory for her exemplary artistic eye, efficiency, attention to detail, and her warmth as a person. I participated in hiring Janette Mallory Interior Design Inc. to renovate and decorate a beach house in which I am a part owner, and I personally hired the firm to decorate my apartment. I also participated in hiring the company to decorate a close friend's home, and I was closely involved in that project. Janette's design skills are excellent, and I believe that she did an fine job on all three projects. She is creative and has the ability to adapt to her clients' needs, taste, and goals. The beach house renovation was the largest project. The structure was completely remodeled (e.g., interior walls were moved, bathrooms were added, a large deck was added, the kitchen was rebuilt, etc.), and was completely redecorated. The end result was outstanding. We did have some back office and billing issues arise on all three projects, and those issues are the on the only problems that we experienced. Notwithstanding those problems, I would hire the firm again.

My wife and i hired Janette Mallory Design to help us redecorate our home. We have used Janette in other projects in the past and she was an obvious choice for us. With her lovely attitude and great talent she understood what we were trying to accomplish and took our vision to the next level, helping us understand some of her choices and how all would come together. We couldn't be happier with the results,she is just great.

Wow!!! She came highly recommended to me, but I was not 100% sure because she specializes in residential and I wanted to remodel a restaurant. Well, she more than exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy with her work and her professional attitude is impressive. I highly recommend her.
