Joe and his team are fantastic. I came to the table thinking that I knew exactly what I wanted for our home. After JSA presented their first design, I realized that I had no clue what it is that wanted. Joe blew us out of the park with his first design. I cannot recommend JSA enough. If anyone is considering an architect , they should use Joe, hands down.

Joesph Spierer, and his team were both amazing and professional in the creation of plans for our addition and remodel. In our initial meetings, a timeline of the work to be done with specific milestones to be accomplished were discussed and shared with us. Throughout the plan development, we were in constant and continual communication on the status of our plan. Due to their technical expertise and knowledge, our plans were approved by our city expeditiously and without issue. We have begun construction and it's all becoming a reality! We appreciate this team, as this would not have been possible without them.

We hired Joseph Spierer’s company to do a complete design of our beach home with rooftop deck in Hermosa beach. From beginning to end we were very pleased with his professionalism and work. He was the only architect that quoted me a price in the beginning...and stuck to it. I had heard a lot of stories about architects and contractors not getting back with you and that was important to me. He was always readily available to talk to me about my concerns. They worked with us to come up with the exact design we wanted very quickly. They are clearly very experienced in architecture. They worked with our city very efficiently. We would definitely highly recommend their company.

Joseph Spierer was highly recommended independently by two different couples living in the South Bay .Upon our first meeting, we were immediately very impressed with his professionalism and hisaccessibility. We already knew about his high competency but sometimes it is still difficult to connect or translate wishes and ideas to an architect. Fortunately, Joseph had an innate understanding of what we were looking for in a project. We could not be happier, we feel supported and well guided. We would very highly recommend this firm to anybody looking for a great architectural team who is honest , competent , on time and easy to work with .

I used JSA to review a set of plan for a luxury home remodel. They were able to come up with a unique way of solving some tricky problems with the layout, as the property is affected with numerous restrictions being in a special planning area. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Our experience with Joseph Spierer Architects was wonderful. Joseph and his staff transformed our very traditional floor plan into an open concept home that is extremely functional as well as beautiful. The entire process from concept to the finished product was so much fun! They are professional, creative, and deliver a timely product. They listened carefully to our wants and needs, and took it to a higher level. When unexpected issues came up during construction, as is inevitable in a remodel, Joseph and his team were always available to help resolve the problem with an elegant solution. I have already recommended Joseph Spierer Architects to my friends and will do it again.

Joseph Spierer was wonderful to work with. We ended up moving walls and reorganizing the layout of our 2 story home, as well as a small addition. The design worked beautifully for our home and every aspect we requested (including the location of our piano) was put into the plans and was well thought out. All in all, I felt that every need was answered promptly. There was really good communication throughout the process. We ended up with a home that absolutely suits our needs. I have no reservations in recommending his work and expertise!

Joe and his team were fabulous. They designed a gorgeous 2,000 sq ft contemporary home for our development project that turned out to be very profitable. JSA is a top notch firm. Not only is Joe honest and fair, but his high level of customer service is second to none. You get what you pay for with Joe and his team, and the results show clearly through the beautiful end product you see in our pictures. No question I will work with Joe Spierer again in the future! Hire him.

We hired JSA to design our dream home from the studs up. Joe warned us that he would be more expensive than others, but this turned out not to be true. We had friends doing similar projects who had started with their architects before we began our project. All we heard from our friends was how their architects never listened to them, got angry when our friends didn't like all of their ideas, or took months to even get started. We had our plans completed and permitted before our friends had finalized plans. In short, JSA actually saved us a lot of time, money, and headache. The entire experience with JSA was incredible - dare I say, fun! Joe and Sora were always professional, responsive, and very efficient, even though our project was small scale compared to what they do. They listened to every idea we had and advised us accordingly so that we met all codes and stayed within budget. I have not worked with a company with so much integrity in a very long time. We will be hiring them to do any future projects without question.

We remodeled an entire floor of our multi-level home. The kitchen was relocated and a bedroom, closet and bathroom were added. We were very pleased with the design solution provided by Joseph Spierer Architects (JSA). Everyone we worked with possessed a high degree of knowledge and professionalism. Communication was timely and thorough and we were provided a design that reflected we had been heard. The process was ease filled and the plans went to the city on schedule. We highly recommend JSA.

We hired Joe to design an upstairs remodel and he did a fantastic job. Our house is over 100 years old and needed some serious updating. He approached the job with a open mind and came back with several design options, all of which clearly brought our ideas to life. He was easy to work with and came in on budget to boot!

I am a general contractor, so I have dealt with a lot of architects and JSA is at the top of my list. I recently hired them to design a ground up unit for me in Torrance. Joe Spierer and his team are extremely professional and deliver a very high quality product in a very timely manner. He has a knack for designing very efficiently in order to help keep construction costs down while maximizing his client's square footage by not wasting space. Joe came out and did an entire inspection of my house at no cost. He gave my wife and I specific advice on what we could do to give ourselves more space. Joe gave us absolutely no pressure about making the improvements that he discussed. As it turned out, we didn't make any changes, but Joe was very helpful, and when we do need to add to or change our house we will definitely talk to Joe again.
