We used Landscape Plus for our backyard landscaping in 2010. It was a complicated job because our backyard is in a ravine and had difficult slope topography. Jim Mosher skillfully handled all the permitting and planning so that the job was stress free for us. His crew is second to none. Their craftsmanship is apparent in everything they do from dried laid stonework, patio brickwork, planting to electrical. Every member of the team is knowledgeable, respectful and affable. You will never hear cursing, see anyone smoking or find garbage left behind. We are extremely happy with the finished product and look forward to working with Landscape Plus again in the future.

Jim Mosher and his team from Landscape Plus did a fantastic job on our backyard "renovation". From conception, to design, to implementation, to clean-up, to finishing the final details they were professional, thorough, and excellent. All of the team members worked diligently, on time and with great skill, and made every effort to minimize disruption to our lives (and those of our neighbours). The job estimate was accurate, the project was completed on time, and the final product was superb. We have a brand new backyard refuge that provides an oasis in the city, and a great location for entertaining. We recommend Landscape Plus highly, and we would (and have) used them again for other projects.

A long time before we started working with Jim Mosher and his team in 2010, we knew that the most stunning properties in our neighbourhood were designed, built and crafted by Landscape Plus. After we renovated our house and financially recovered, it was time for the yard to receive some much-needed TLC. We had drainage problems; no direct sunlight from the north facing position of the house; and no planned sightlines as we moved around the property. There were a several ergonomic and design considerations that needed to be understood and addressed before anything could begin. Jim was very patient when listening to our many ideas and took the time to help us refine and skillfully plan for our specific environment. After several drafts we felt we were on the same page and gave the project a green light. The project started in earnest in the spring of 2010 and it was inspiring to watch everyone on the team ply his or her skill and craftsmanship. Throughout the process, the inevitable details that came up were met with skillful solutions. We were very pleased with the results then, and now 8 years later, the quality of the workmanship and design are standing the test of time. The results have been spectacular and we enjoy our little oasis more with each passing season!

The Landscape Plus team has worked at my home on several projects. I have always found them professional and very skilled. I have been most impressed with the care and skill that Jim and his stone masons take in preparing each stone for its perfect place on a wall, patio or fireplace. Jim Mosher has also impressed with his artistic skill which results in each stone finding its perfect home. I think Landscape Plus is incomparable.

Jim is a "hands on" contractor who designs his projects and then engages in the physical work with his employees. His designs are imaginative; he adheres to budget and stands behind the product. We are very happy with the end result and continue to use his maintenance services.

Jim and his crew are very professional. When they say they are coming, they come. I was also very impressed at how Jim would roll up his sleeves and pitch in. He is a perfectionist and really cares about his work. Very good about keeping informed, keeping on budget. He changed the project a little on the fly because he thought it would look better a certain way and it did (and it did not impact the budget)!

We hired Landscape Plus to renovate our Kingsway gardens, front and back yards , including replacement of significant stonework. As in most projects, renovation can be more challenging than a greenfield project. We really enjoyed working with Jim Mosher and his crew through all stages of the work. Design renderings were very detailed and adjustments were made as requested. Execution of the project was flawless. Once the job started , it proceeded on schedule . All of the crew were competent, friendly and respectful. Job site was always left tidy. We were totally delighted with the outcome and are enjoying our gardens all year round.

Jim and his team at Landscape Plus are fantastic. From start to finish, they have been wonderful. We have referred our friends to his team and they have been equally impressed. Jim has done the landscaping at many of the homes in our neighbourhood and its great to see how his work has matured over the years.

We had a major project done by Jim and his tremendous team . From design to finalization we were kept informed of expected time lines and cost v/v original estimate. This was a lengthy project and Jim was on site several times each week . He is a perfectionist and true professional .

We have known Jim Mosher and his company for a long time. We hired him shortly after we moved to our new house in 1994 to do our front and back yard landscaping. We were blown away by his creativity and by the quality of work that he and his team delivered. So when over 20 years later was time to do some refresh we didn't hesitate to call on Jim again. And again, his team showed the highest professionalism in every aspect of our project. Whether it related to stone work, wood work, planting or design, Landscape Plus provided us with the best in the field. We are very thankful to Landscape Plus for creating such an amazing place for us to enjoy and share it with our friends and family.

Landscape Plus has proven to be a perfect choice for our condo balcony project. Jim Mosher came and looked at the space, talked with us about our use of the space and our wish list, and came up with a plan that fit our needs perfectly. He designed and had built a functional and beautiful screen/storage cabinet, as well as decorative brackets for hanging planters for the balcony walls. His choice and placement of large planters created spaces and site lines that enhance the space both outside and from inside the condo as well. The choice and quality of plant materials, lighting and irrigation along with the ease of installation, made for an easy and beautiful balcony transformation. The project came in on time and on budget and we couldn't be more pleased.

We purchased our home on The Kingsway almost three years ago and we loved everything about it except the front yard. The previous owners had invested in landscaping, however they had overplanted trees, removed the original stonewall and did not have any colour in their gardens. Our dream home lacked the “wow factor” when you pulled in the driveway. We had used Jim Mosher’s Landscape Plus at our old home for a much smaller project and we were very impressed with his design, his crew and the finished product. We hired Jim to create a vision for our front yard with only a few requests. We wanted the finished product to fit into the neighbourhood and look like it had always been there. We wanted colour and native plants. Most of all, we wanted the “wow factor” when looking at our home from the street. From the start, everyone in the neighbourhood was interested in the project. Nobody could walk past the house without slowing down to see what was happening. I am sure a few people were very concerned when Jim and his crew took down many small trees and when the stone pillars at the end of the driveway were torn down. The yard became a blank canvas, ready for Jim’s artistry. Within weeks, Jim’s vision started to immerge. It was a long process because the crew was meticulous, placing each stone perfectly. Once the pillars and the wall were complete, Jim consulted with me again to plan the garden. We walked through other properties he had planned and planted, and I shared with him what I liked and did not like. With my requests, Jim and his team planted a gorgeous garden. They took care of all of the lighting, and reset our sprinkler system. New sod was laid and the project was done. The finished product is spectacular. Throughout the three-month project, the crew was punctual, friendly, tidy and professional. We couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to work on our front yard. The results speak for themselves. I have had friends send emails, just to say how much they love the project. Complete strangers stop and comment, if I happen to be out front. Some neighbours walk up the walkway to admire the garden- I guess they feel like they were a part of it, watching it develop and blossom. Our neighbours are thrilled and are inspired to create their own “wow factor” at their homes. We love the look of our front yard, and we can hardly wait to see how it evolves as the garden grows. It was an expensive endeavour, however, to us it was worth every penny. We are so pleased with the result and we know that we will get a return on our investment, years from now when we sell the house. In the meantime, we are so proud of our home and the gorgeous front yard. We asked Jim to achieve a “wow factor” and he did that and more. 17 The Kingsway- Backyard Paradise, Two Years Laer It all started with a dying old oak tree that had to be removed. We hadn’t planned on giving our backyard a facelift for another five years, yet when the old tree came down, we were left with a huge gap in the yard and an opportunity to make some changes. Landscape Plus had done such a spectacular job with our front yard two years ago, that it was without hesitation that we enlisted Jim and his crew to take on this new project. After several meetings, much discussion and many sketches, Jim came up with a design. The original deck would stay, yet would be refurbished and secured by numerous helical piles. The focal point of the yard would be an 8-foot linear gas fireplace, with a flagstone platform, surrounded by comfy seating and placed in the middle of the yard where the old oak tree once stood. A serving station would be built, the barbeque area would be refaced, a large new tree would be planted, stepping stones would be laid and the gardens would received new plants and a huge tidy-up. Jim’s crew arrived in mid-June and stripped the yard down to the barebones, preparing it to work their magic. The decking was lifted, trees were trimmed, plants were removed (and preserved) and a fence was put up creating a secure space for our dogs. A symphony of workers arrived each morning, working in harmony in all parts of the yard, slowly, steadily and skillfully moving the project ahead. Once the earth screws were installed, it was time to start putting things back together and Jim’s creative juices burst out. We regularly met with Jim to hear updates and make small adjustments as we went along. Jim’s team kept the worksite tidy and created as little disruption as possible to our busy household. After two large projects, Jim’s team feels like family. Their hard work throughout the project demonstrated exceptional skill and personal pride in what they were doing. They were all excited to see the finished product, once it was complete. The project took two months from start to finish and our backyard is stunning. We live 15 minutes from downtown Toronto, yet when you step into our backyard overlooking the Humber ravine, you feel like you have arrived at a dramatic resort oasis, inviting you to relax and enjoy nature. The scope of this project made it expensive, however now our backyard is ready for years and years of enjoyment. We can’t wait until spring when we can start spending time in our private paradise.
