Barbara literally designed my home from top to bottom. Every conversation we had turned into a beautiful design idea. Barbara took pieces that meant something to me like my travel mementos and items I inherited from my Mother and incorporated them into the rooms and my home. The Waterford Chandelier in the entry way and paintings in the entry way set the time I wanted for making people welcome when visiting. Barbara also designed my work condo which sold at a premium, everything was intentional and thought out to pieces I could bring back and incorporate into my home and saved me money. Barbara was always very open on we don’t need to spend money here and do need those pieces. There were no surprises as everything was priced and discussed before we moved forward. Decisions can sometimes be hard for me, especially when it comes to design. The whole process can be overwhelming and stressful. Barbara makes it relaxing and fun. She has designed two of our homes so far and also renovated an office located in a home from the 1800s. It’s updated but still timeless and classic. She puts in the extra effort to make us happy, like when she designed a centerpiece of flowering plants for our dining room table. Barbara is so organized, always on time, and pays attention to every detail. She’s got an artist’s heart and a business mind.

I first worked with Lee Meier 24 years ago when I built my house and recently engaged Barbara for a major refresh. Green is my favorite color and she found unique ways to incorporate different shades throughout my home. I loved the original kitchen wallpaper and the workers were able to demolish that room and keep the paper intact. She finds the most unique furniture, like my black lacquer desk with dragonflies and butterflies. For the furniture with ‘good bones,’ she had them reupholstered. Barbara has the utmost integrity. She’s perky, thoughtful, and a great listener. It’s a joy to work with her and her whole team.

We live in Florida and hired Natalie to completely refurnish our penthouse condominium in Cleveland. With a tight deadline of three months, Natalie did a great job selecting coastal colors, furniture, fabrics, and lighting. Even with all the floor-to-ceiling windows and steel accents, which can make a space seem cold, it still feels warm and welcoming. The stunning focal point is a scattering of turquoise stones along the staircase wall. We’ve built five homes over our lifetime and know how stressful the design process can be. Natalie listens so well and never gets frazzled, even with impossible deadlines. She captured exactly what we wanted.

When we moved from an 1,100-square-foot apartment in NYC to a 4,000-square-foot house in Lakewood eighteen years ago, we knew we needed help furnishing it. Luckily, we turned to Lee Meier and their wonderful team of designers. Over the many renovations and updates since, Paul has always been a great listener and incredibly skilled at respectfully drawing out our vision—not imposing his vision on us. He has helped us with so many of the big things and the little touches that make our house our home. Some of my favorites are the black tooled-leather semainier he found to fit an odd space in our dressing room, the perfect color palette he chose for a seamless guest suite renovation, and just the right, subtle alternative to cover the unwanted dark green and burgundy border in the kitchen. He and Natalie continue to help us as we are currently refreshing the kitchen, and also making plans to remodel the master bathroom. They are both so honest, kind, and authentic. What could be a daunting experience is like play to me and I look forward to working with them on every project!

When we planned to move into a brand-new house and were expecting twins, I knew I needed help designing and furnishing it. Natalie was the perfect choice. She is extremely personable and cheery and very responsive. She stayed on top of all the manufacturers to ensure delivery was as prompt as possible. From furniture and light fixtures to wallpaper and window treatments, she transformed just about every room. Our master bedroom, with the custom-upholstered bed, is a sanctuary of peace. Kiley McAllister redesigned my kitchen and living room several years ago, and I've been very happy with it. She worked with my budget, which wasn't very large, and helped me focus on where to splurge a little and where to hold back. For instance, I couldn't afford granite countertops, but she found amazing tiles with an arabesque shape that echoed my favorite lamp. I couldn't afford a particular window treatment, and she problem-solved a way to do something very similar for much less.

As soon as I started working with Barbara more than ten years ago, I knew we were kindred spirits. She is so intuitive when it comes to knowing what pleases me. She treats me like I’m her only client. After renovating our primary home, she did our entire Florida home, mostly remotely, and it’s magnificent. When I have a design idea for either of our homes, my husband asks me, ‘What does Barbara think?’ and I know we’re about to start our next adventure. Working with contractors can often be a nightmare. My experience is always a dream because Barbara only works with the best. I love Barbara and everyone I recommend her to loves her, too!

Natalie Rich helped us with the daunting task of decorating our new build. She helped pick out window treatments for all of the rooms and arranged for their installation, and helped pick out almost all new furniture for most of the rooms. She brought our vision for a clean, modern look to life and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

Natalie Rich picked 4 color and pattern designs for our family room. After we chose a color scheme, Natalie helped us pick out furniture, window treatments, paint and carpeting. She listened to our ideas and worked hard to design a beautiful new room within our budget. We also appreciated her assistance with installation of the window treatments and furniture placement.
