Westward Renovation

Stay far far away from this company! We sadly chose to work with them to put an addition on our home. Everything seemed great until we signed the contract and paid the deposit. As soon as they had our money the quality of communication dropped and as our project began it became evident that many promises and expectations would not be fulfilled. They hired an inexperienced subcontractor to conduct the vast majority of the work, did not listen when we raised concerns, provided no onsite supervision and proceeded to skip required inspections and deviate from the engineer’s plans without approval. To make matters even worse, they left our home exposed to rains during construction and we ended up with leaks and damaged drywall in 2 rooms of our existing home, for which they never took responsibility or addressed. When we pursued their liability insurance to cover the fixes, we sadly learned they were not even insured for the type of work they were doing at our house. We are currently proceeding with a CCB complaint and likely taking them to court. Westward’s mismanagement of our house project resulted in unnecessary delays to the project, damage to our existing home, and poor quality construction. Learn from our experience and do not use this company!

Westward Renovation did a great job remodeling our kitchen. From design to construction, the team made our vision come to life. The team is very responsive, they are polite and professional. They showed up when they said they would. The craftmanship is excellent. This was our best experience with a remodeling company. I highly recommend Westward.
