Our dream to remodel our basement for our sons' graduations and family holiday gatherings died after we hired Majestic Home Solutions. They have been working on our basement remodel FOR TWO YEARS and it’s not close to being done (Majestic argues it has only been 1 1/2 yrs, not 2 yrs, so I should not complain). I paid them over $70,000. Virtually every facet of the project has had to be redone. The work quality is poor. Majestic's owner hires out the work to unlicensed and/or unskilled subcontractors who blindly perform the work without guidance, instruction, or oversight from Majestic. I will describe one such example. After hastily installing a brand new floating floor (over the entire basement floor), Majestic had to completely redo it months later because both Majestic and its subcontractors were unfamiliar with the flooring manufacturer's installation instructions (requiring the subfloor to be levelled per specifications and requiring cabinets be installed prior to laying the floor). These were flooring tiles specifically recommended BY MAJESTIC. Had I not read the instructions myself, I would have been left with a grossly unlevel basement floor with a voided warranty because my $70k contractor didn't bother reading the manufacturer's instructions. YOU will become your own project manager / foreman because the owner (our designated project manager / superintendent) does not come out to the site to show the subcontractors what to do and does not inspect their work. After arriving at the house with no project manager or foreman on site, subcontractors have asked us what it is they are supposed to be do. We are having issues with the new bathroom and shower: an unlevel floor, unlevel toilet, cracked grout (have yet to turn on the shower), and poor quality work. It looks like I tried finishing the basement remodel myself over the weekend. This project was supposed to be completed in 4-5 months. Instead, my sons' graduations, two Thanksgivings, and two Christmases have come and gone. The appliances they made us buy at the start of the project (they won't begin working until all materials and appliances are on site) are still sitting in my garage, unopened, and now out of warranty. I am out $70k & still have no functional basement. One of the worst experiences we have ever had (and are still going through).

I would recommend Majestic Home Solutions (and I have) to friends and family that are looking to get work done on their house. The experience from start to finish was professional and the entire time we felt comfortable with the team that was doing the work. We had them finish our basement and we have loved every minute of the spaces that were created. We had them create and entertainment room, a kitchen/bar, desk area for the kids, bedroom/exercise room, and some creative storage areas. I waited a bit (longer than I meant) to create this review to make sure the work held up and I am happy to report it has been great. * The initial quoting process was perfect. They listened to what we wanted to accomplish and provided advice on what they would do or would not do. We never felt pressure to do more than we wanted. They provided a clear quote that broke down all of the work * Design documents were provided that help visualize what was possible and what the floor plan would look like when completed. Some companies did not share this until you signed with them or you paid for the plans, with Majestic it was part of the quoting process free and easy. * The process of a project like this can be very overwhelming and I have to say the process Majestic uses to provide the home owner with a list of choices that we need to make, the vendors they recommend, and price range to follow to stay in budget was absolutely amazing. * The team that worked on the project were all friendly and respectful when they were in our home. * We are very pleased with the quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship of the team that did the work. All of the cabinet work, hidden door bookshelf, entertainment center, and Murphy bed have all held up and look outstanding. * During the process when issues came up (they always do in projects) the team was clear when describing the issue and provided options/suggestions on how we could get around it. Overall we were extremely happy with Majestic and I hope to use them again for future projects around the house.

From our first meeting with Zayne we knew Majestic was the right partner for us. The design phase was great and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Our basement is beautiful! The timeline was met, the work is stellar. We would hire them again for sure!

Majestic did a great job remodeling our Master Bath. Project was on time (completed in 30 days) and on Budget. Craftsmen were very professional and courteous. Also, had great suggestions on enhancements as we went through the process.

Very good overall. We had some hiccups and delays and they handled them all very well. I would recommend them to anyone.
