Ken and his team built our new house in Raleigh. The lot on which the house is built was challenge as it is narrow and steep. But Ken was up for the challenge as was his amazing team of subcontractors. Ken was available and accessible throughout the building process. His project manager, Ryan Beverly, was on site every day and was always accessible via text and phone. We were kept informed throughout the project. Ken estimated the build would take about 7 months and he was within 2 weeks of this estimate. He also worked with us to stay within budget. Ken is patient, kind, accessible, knowledgeable, and a great manager. We cannot say enough about Ken, Ryan and all the others who worked on our house. We highly recommend Neuhoff Custom Builders!

Ken and his team - in particular his project manager Garfield - are outstanding to work with. The quality of the work reflects the careful selection of sub-contractors and relationships that Neuhoff has nurtured. These types of projects, by their nature, have hundreds of little decisions, dozens of unexpected challenges and many people involved (subs, inspectors, deliveries, etc.). Making that work smoothly is a real art form and this team nails it. We had a pretty ambitious project with several truly custom elements in the finish work, the design and other aspects. The project went smoothly, the economics were fair (extremely high quality and easy to work with and delivered for a fair price, with honesty and expertise) and every issue we encountered was handled with professionalism and solutions. We would jump at the opportunity to work with them again.

Renovating a home can be daunting! Ken Neuhoff and his project manager, Ryan Beverly, went out of their way to ensure that we had a positive experience, and we did. Ken uses excellent sub-contractors. He was always available to address our questions and concerns and approached every challenge with a positive, can-do attitude.

Ken and his team did an amazing job finishing our basement and remodeling our bonus room. When we were looking for contractors, we considered four factors: quality of work, communication and project management, how we believed they would handle scope changes and unexpected bumps, and of course price. We identified Neuhoff Custom Builders early in the process, checked references, and ultimately felt very comfortable with Ken and his team. Our project had some complex remodel work and some unique finish work, and Ken and his team did not disappoint. First class work throughout the entire process. Great communication, great attention to detail, fair and transparent handling of scope changes. We've received many compliments on Ken's work, and we've recommended him to many friends. It's incredibly rare in this day and age to find his combination of quality, professionalism and price. We recommend him without hesitation!

Ken Neuhoff completely gutted our kitchen and remodeled it as well as our patio following B. A. Farrell's design. Ken did an excellent job--most importantly to me, he was very accessible and wanted to please and we are very pleased with our completed project. B. A. did a great design job following it through to completion and Ken did a great job building it. I would highly recommend both of these men and will definitely use them again for any other building projects.

As noted we cannot put in all the dates we have used him as your format does not allow nor does it allow the total amount of cost of multiple jobs he has done for us. Ken did an outstanding job and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone for large renovation projects. Ken's crews completely gutted and renovated our 1920's bungalow in a matter of 5 months staying within budget and on schedule. The crews were all very respectful of our home even when it was down to just a shell, making sure to sweep up each night. They were also patient with my questions and frequent drop-ins to check-in on the progress, always eager to share what they were working on or offer a helpful suggestion. Ken was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had and went to bat for us several times during the process to make sure all tasks were completed with the highest quality.
