We worked with Becker Home Improvement for our kitchen remodel last summer into early Fall. Our home is older and we wanted to make the best use of our space. We are SO happy with the results! We decided to take down a wall to open the space and make room for a large kitchen island. All materials used were high quality and beautiful. Working with Randy and team was easy - we stuck to our timeline budget very well, which I know is a concern for any family doing a big project. We hope to work with Becker Home Improvement again for any future home renovations. Would highly recommend!

We've used Randy and the Becker Home Improvement team for a number of projects over the years. Always quality workmanship and they stand behind the work. Our most recent project, a full kitchen remodel, we could not love more. They are accomodating to changes and ideas within reason and care about giving the customer what they want. Besides the kitchen, we've had Becker Home Improvements add a four season porch, remodel our primary bathroom, install new windows, and other misc jobs. Randy takes any call or text and follows up on every question. I'm not sure what our next project will be, but Randy will be the first person we reach out to when the time comes.

Our house was built in the late 1920's and as we approached a kitchen remodel, we wanted to bring our kitchen into modern times while preserving the character/period of the house. Working with Randy and his entire team was an absolute pleasure. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and we appreciated the professionalism and high quality work everyone at Becher Home Improvement demonstrated. I've told more than one person that there isn't anything about the final product that we aren't happy with.

Randy and his crew have served me amazingly well. The craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the responsiveness to any issue, large or small, has been extraordinary. We had a lot of challenges with my remodeling project, and he met and exceeded the needs of the moment. The cabinet work is non-pareil. That's a fancy word for unrivaled. The flooring work, same. Plumbing, same. I wouldn't use anyone else to meet future needs.

Becker Home Improvement did an amazing job on our house renovation. We have a 100 year old home that needed everything from top to bottom: insulation, electrical, plumbing, and support. In addition we had walls removed, an expansion built-out, new kitchen and new bathrooms. Randy and his brilliant crew worked through the entire project on time and budget. BHI recently completed the construction of our new ADU, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From the moment we began looking for a General Contractor, we felt at ease with Randy's genuine, realistic, and thoughtful approach. Although the City of Madison had recently updated its ADU guidelines, and Randy was upfront with us that this would be his first ADU project (as it was for other contractors we spoke with), we felt confident in his ability to guide us through the process. Thanks to Randy's transparency and collaborative approach, the entire project was smooth and stress-free. We worked closely together to navigate any challenges, and the outcome is beyond our expectations. The final ADU is not only functional but also beautifully crafted, and we are thrilled with the quality of work from both BHI and the subcontractors involved. We highly recommend BHI for anyone considering an ADU project—Randy and his team’s dedication to quality, communication, and professionalism made all the difference.

Randy's team was phenomenal. Becker Home Improvement was able to take the vision we developed with our designer and bring it to life. We're thrilled with the final result. More specifically, our project was 1) a full bathroom renovation (down to the studs), 2) a mudroom revamp (with custom cabinetry), and 3) a living/dining/kitchen area refresh (mainly paint and fixtures). The bathroom renovation looks and works great. Randy's team was able to roll with any unexpected items that came up. The final result is a guest bathroom that we love offering to any visitors we have. The mudroom revamp gave us more storage, a more modern look, and a more functional laundry area (beautiful quartz countertop over the washer/dryer combo). The living, dining, and kitchen areas no longer feel dated to the early 2000s. And the new custom vent hood is a health improvement as well as tying in more cohesively designwise to the rest of the kitchen. Throughout the entire project, Randy and his team were easy to work with and responsive on the communication front (text and email). Can't ask for much more!

We've had Becker Home Improvement work on five different projects in our home the last few years and we've always been thrilled with the results. Obviously, these days, there are plenty of post-COVID challenges in the remodeling industry, but despite dealing with supply chain issues, coordinating subcontractors and whatever else comes along, Randy's staff has been top-notch from excellent results in their work, to listening to what we needed, to doing a great job of cleaning up the work site every day. They're creative and professional - we've gotten many great comments on the work like - "it looks like something out of magazine!". We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Becker Home Improvement for any home renovation project-- in fact, we're already looking forward to our next one!

Randy and the Becker Home Improvement crew did a fantastic job with our kitchen renovation. From the planning to demo to build the team provided a seamless experience, bringing to reality our vision for a clean, contemporary space that took advantage of our original footprint. There was no upselling and no haggling. The price reflected the careful planning and design we agreed upon. The subs were reliable and timely, and they took care to join the new and old (non updated) parts of our home to make the renovations seem natural. We cannot recommend them enough. This was our first contracted renovation, and Randy made it easy.

Becker Home Improvement has done a terrific job with our addition/kitchen remodel project. We fully redid the kitchen, created a sunroom addition off the kitchen & added a new 3 season porch with a small patio off the sunroom. After extensive demolition, we tore down our old three season porch & made it into a new sunroom addition that opens from the kitchen & added a new three season porch with cedar paneling off the sunroom. This included roof repair & improvements. Randy & his crew were especially helpful guiding us through the process with the next steps and with all the decisions that were made "on-the-fly" or at the last minute. We were especially pleased with the trim (window, doors, & base boards) to match the rest of the house. Entry into the kitchen/sunroom feels like a home improvement reveal every time we come up the stairs. The Amish made hickory cabinets are gorgeous! We now have the space we wanted with the views our cats love. It will be exciting to use the porch & covered patio this summer for grilling & entertaining. All 3 rooms have quickly become our favorite gathering place in the house!

We had a complete kitchen remodel done by Becker Home Improvement. From the onset of the designing process to the end of the project Randy was always quick to answer questions and consider recommendations. Demolition consisted of taking out two entire walls and a decent bit of ceiling. One was a supporting wall. Also demolished was the entire kitchen floor and some of the hardwood floor. Randy's team placed a plastic dust barrier wall up and used a dust containment vacuum system that kept the the rest of the house almost completely dust free. For the remodel and rebuild he enlisted a number of disciplines including a professional designer, plumbers, electricians, drywallers, and a wood floor specialist, among others. The remodel was extensive for our mid-century ranch. We decided to use a lot of natural and upscale materials and found it very easy to consult with Randy through the entire process. His knowledge base is extensive and is grounded is practicality which is invaluable. We now have what seems like an entirely new space that transcends trendiness and adds value and functionality to our home. Very grateful to have access to such fantastic service.

Becker Home Improvement should be everyone’s first choice! Randy and his team were amazing. We had a full kitchen remodel and they created an amazing space, exceeding our expectations. Randy’s team also finished our basement into what is now a beautiful, functional space. 3 months later and I am still wowed! Their entire team was professional and hard working in every sense of the word. I never expected such a large project to go so smoothly. I looked forward to having them on-site each day. Great communication - so polite and kind. From the very beginning, Randy worked with us to meet our budgetary needs while ensuring our space was high-end and met our overall vision. Our cabinet quality alone is unmatched! We love our remodeled bathrooms! Randy Becker’s philosophy is to ensure his customers end up with exactly what they want. In our case, he and his crew, exceeded expectations. He has a “can do” attitude and excelled at problem solving when confronted with problems that popped up along the way. We especially appreciated his “on site” visits to check on the work. Our renovations involved converting a shower/bath to a shower for aging-in-place, replacing a shower/ bath (that had multiple issues) with one that did not hassle us and finally replacing our upstairs carpet which required removing and retrofitting many, many doors. He listened to what we wanted, offered welcome suggestions, gave us a time line and estimate that he pretty much was able to keep to despite Covid issues, supply issues and general problems working on a very old house. We now love our bathrooms!

Becker Home Improvement completed a large project for us which included: tear down of an existing garage and the addition of a new foyer, laundry room, primary bath and walk-in closet along with a three car garage; a second story was built above this newly added space which includes a full bath, two bedrooms and a bonus room; tear down of the existing deck and a new Trek deck was constructed and patio doors to the existing great room were replaced; the lower level remodel included the update and redesign of a full bath, a new kitchenette and a bedroom was turned into a game room leading to a newly constructed lake room under the new deck; the existing cedar room where the main floor connects to the second story was refurbished with new cedar tongue and groove, windows and skylights; new siding and roofing. At the end of the day every existing room was touched in some way. Randy was a pleasure to work with. Our job was extensive and his knowledge and problem solving skills allowed him to deal effectively with unique situations that arose during construction. He was flexible and open to ideas as the project evolved to ensure we got the home we envisioned. Randy employs his own carpenters which was important to us and his staff showed professionalism and a sense of pride in their work. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident throughout the project. Randy is a prompt communicator and once the job started he stopped by to check in and monitor progress nearly every day. Our home remodel exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with the results. We highly recommend Randy and his crew and look forward to working again with him in the future.

We were very happy we chose Becker Home Improvement for our screened porch addition. Randy and his dedicated, professional crew left us no doubt we made the right hire. Becker Home Improvement completed a large remodel project for us (lower level bar, rec room, bedroom addition, screen porch remodel and upstairs hardwood flooring installation) that turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. The complexity of the project which included removal of a supporting wall, putting in 2 steel beams, and raising the floor of the screen porch to accompany lower level bedroom addition was no problem for randy and his team. The team was courteous and also great with our young children who were very interested in the whole process. Jahna’s ideas and guidance with the bar design was great. We plan to hire Randy and his team again for future projects and would highly recommend!

We were looking to do a large remodel on our main level, removing a bedroom and expanding our kitchen. We also wanted to replace our siding and windows. During the search for the perfect contractor it was obvious to us that many of them would have been in over their head. Randy put us at ease and was very easy to communicate with. I worked with Jahna to help design the space and she was so helpful. The cabinets in my kitchen are one of a kind, William created exactly what we had asked for. Randy's crew of Luke, Hollie and Charlie plus Tanner, Shaun and Noah are great workers. (Our neighbors even mentioned how well they got along and how well they cleaned up every day.) Randy Becker’s many years of experience organizing building and remodeling projects, along with his expertise as a structural engineer gave us great confidence that our job was being done right. He is particularly efficient in getting materials ordered with enough lead time and his professional crews scheduled so that each phase flowed smoothly and progress was constant. We opened up our 80’s kitchen with vaulted ceilings, expanding into garage space along with adding a new laundry room and powder room, and adding new larger windows to view the backyard. The many changes we had to make were well planned out. He works with a kitchen designer and an Amish cabinet builder, both of whom brought our ideas to a highly polished level. Three months of a very positive experience! We LOVE our new updated spaces, and highly recommend Becker Home Improvement!

Randy did an amazing job. He showed up on time, got the work done and his crew cleaned up the site perfectly. There were no surprises.

We wanted a three season porch that fit with our existing house design. From previous experiences with past additions on other houses with other builders, we had reservations about this big project. But from start to finish, this was a great job! Randy and his team worked diligently to build exactly the porch we wanted. From the beginning and throughout the construction, Randy seemed to want to please us as his customers. He worked with us whenever something came up and resolved any problems or concerns. Eric, Issac and Sean were professional carpenters and knew what they were doing. Randy oversaw the project daily, was prompt in his communications and used top of the line material. His initial estimate was reasonable for the project, He stayed within the budget and did not cut any corners. We had to wait to start our project because he was in high demand, but it was well worth the wait. We are now enjoying an extremely well built three season porch and we would recommend Becker Home Improvements Inc, without reservations.

Randy and his crew added on to our existing elevated deck. They extended the deck (using quality Trex materials) and added a large screened porch (with a gas fireplace and TV.) The end result is fabulous! Randy's employees are polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely hard working. Luke and Holly are masters at their craft. Everyone who has seen our deck is very impressed. We could not be happier! And we've already hired Becker Home Improvement for another project on our home.

We've worked with Randy and Becker Home Improvement on multiple projects over the last 10+ years - adding a 3 season porch/deck, storage units in the garage, updating the kitchen and laundry room and bathroom in our previous home. In our current condo, updating a bathroom, complete update of the kitchen including all new cabinetry, updating the living room fireplace front and built in cabinets with floating shelves, updating the laundry room. We keep going back to Randy because we know he is talented, honest, trustworthy, creative and cares immensely about the job he's undertaking. Randy and his crew were fantastic! They were able to complete our home addition of adding 2 bedrooms and 1 roughed in bathroom above our garage AND keep it within our planned budget. They were very flexible with changes or add ons that we wanted along the way (we decided to re shingle the entire roof, paint and repair the indoor lofted ceiling, knock down a wall in our loft to increase the square footage). They were clean and polite and very easy to approach to ask questions or inquire about progress. Randy was able to accomplish the remodel within our budget AND with everything we wanted while several other company's quotes were either over budget, or without everything we wanted AND the quality did not suffer at all!! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the painted final product yet but it looks fantastic!

We hired Randy (Becker Home Improvement) for a sophisticated whole home remodel. The property is historic - early 1900's construction. The scope of work included upgrading from a one-car garage to a two-car; building a three-story addition (incl. basement); adding a front porch; finishing the basement and remodeling the interior (incl. full kitchen remodel). Randy's team is very talented, personable and professional. Randy was fantastic to work with and the ultimate "problem solver". This project (and this homeowner) threw Randy many challenges. Each of which he approached with an open mind and solved creatively and "the right way". He always amazed me with his availability - always quick to reply or answer the phone when I called. In the end, we are absolutely thrilled with our "new" home and have received many compliments on the quality of the work, the attention to detail, the preservation of historic styles and the creative re-use of reclaimed materials from the home-site (including bricks and attic sub-floor refashioned into walls and fireplace surrounds). I have used Becker Home Improvement for two different homes and both kitchen remodels. Each remodel turned out as I'd hoped. Randy and his crew are easy to work with, kind, responsive, and knowledgeable. We asked for some additional items as we went and our expectations were met.

We started using Becker Home Improvement about 10 years ago for a kitchen remodel including new hardwood flooring in the hallway, kitchen, powder room, dinette and family room. Also, replacing a window in the dinette with a Pella patio door. Over the next year they replaced all the old windows and family room patio door with pella windows and door. About 3 years ago we had them remodel the basement recroom. Finally, this year Becker Home Improvement removed our old deck and built a beautiful new Trex deck and installed hardwood flooring in the living room and dining room. Over the 10 year period we spent about $100,000. The quality of work is outstanding. I would recommend him without any reservations.

Randy Becker refers the client to talented designers at local suppliers to ensure project materials meet today's standards. Designers will do their best to help your project stay within budget. Randy is easy to brainstorm with, and he will answer every question you have in language you can understand. He works together with the client to resolve problems, and he will send his staff back to the job to make corrections without charging extra. I have referred this company to numerous friends and relatives, and we have all been very satisfied with the results--and we do not hesitate to become repeat customers for our remodeling projects.

Randy and his team were amazing. They did a full remodel, added an upper addition, and built a brand new deck for us on an older house we had purchased. Everything turned out better than we ever imagined. Randy was so easy to work with, as we were living out of state while the renovations were going on. Becker Home Improvement Inc did a great job installing siding, windows and doors on my house. The windows and doors work flawlessly and the siding and weatherstripping look like nothing will get in. The crew was very professional and they completed the job quickly, though they were very thorough. They went above and beyond what they needed to do since they helped with letting the dog out, trash containers and delivered packages. The house looks great. The estimate was spot on to the cost of the project. I will definitely hire them again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing home improvements.

Randy and his crew did a major exterior remodel - roof, windows, doors, garage doors, and siding- of our house. They were excellent to work with. Randy was very responsive to questions, ideas, and changes before and during the process. He was very knowledgeable about various products and we feel like he directed us to quality materials while keeping our design ideas in mind. Everyone on the crew was polite, considerate and hard-working. They did an excellent job of clean up each day. It was a very large job but we had an excellent experience working with Becker Home Improvement. We will definitely use Randy and his crew for any future projects.

Upon the recommendation of my cousin, I invited Randy to give a proposal to replace all 19 windows in our house. After receiving bids from various window companies, I was anxious to hear what Randy had to say about various brands. He gave me his opinions based on his experiences and didn't try to pressure me one way or another. His crew was professional, polite, clean and respectful. While some companies promise to have the job done in a couple of days, Randy and his crew did the job right and didn't cut corners. The project took about 2 weeks. We enjoyed each of his crew members and will hire Randy and his team for our next project without hesitation. We did have an issue with one of the windows (mfg issue, not installment), and Randy/crew handled it. Because the quality of work Randy and his crew do, they are in demand. It took six months from the time we agreed to his bid for the job until they were able to come and do the work. As long as you plan for that, you'll not regret it.

Randy and his team have the number one quality I look for in a construction company; they care about getting it right. We had a very large project involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Randy took care of everything. He listened to all of our concerns and made sure everything was done right.

The larger of the two bathrooms in our house required major remodeling. The tub/shower, the toilet bowl/apparatus, and the handwashing sink and all had to be replaced, as well as all of the fixtures. Also, rotted flooring and walls had to be replaced and repainted. Additionally, the counters, cabinets, and lighting were all replaced. It was a complete re-make of the bathroom. Becker Home Improvement did a superlative job. They were extremely sensitive to our needs, and were always timely and responsive. All work was completed on time and in a highly professional manner. They always displayed a "can do" attitude. I’d like to add how I was especially impressed and thankful to have their employee Jeff coordinating our bathroom project back last December. Not only was he easy and courteous to talk with, he demonstrated a deep knowledge of all the materials and methods that had to come into play during the entire course of the job. He was always cognizant of our needs as homeowners, and went out of his way to ask questions of me if there was any room for doubt as to what we might want for certain features in the installation. His communication skills are as impressive as his technical abilities, and he always returned my calls very promptly. I had always heard “war stories” about other contractors and the nightmares that other homeowners had gone through with them. I never experienced anything like that with Jeff in charge of the operation. I was amazed at how quickly and smoothly our new bathroom developed. The final product has been a joy to use, and now, instead of making excuses and jokes about how desperate our old bathroom situation was (all 3 utilities suffered leakage), we can now show off the new room with pride. Becker Home Improvement is to be credited for that.

Randy responded quickly to questions and concerns we had regarding our bathroom remodel(s). Jeff did an excellent job of completing the work including leaving the workspace immaculate everyday. There were minor changes in the budget though that was because my husband and I added things as the job(s) progressed. Becker Home Improvement is my go to remodeler. Most recently, I remodeled most of the first floor of my home, which was an older home that had not been updated in many, many years. This was a big project, revamping the entire kitchen, removing walls, etc. It turned out just the way I wanted it - beautiful! Some specifics: First, I have been very happy with the quality of their work. Absolutely professional . Second, great communication! This is so important, and Randy does it right. He is responsive and great at working through any issues that might come up (as in an older home that might be a little crooked when you take it down to the studs!). Third, his pricing is reasonable and he has always been on budget -- and on time -- for me. Finally, his crew are all great people . Randy has done an excellent job putting together a team where each person is really good at their craft and seems to enjoy what they do. Fully recommend!
