We originally chatted with RB about a kitchen remodel for our 1960s, 1800 sq foot, 3/2 house in Austin. We had a dream of redesigning the entire space but it seemed like an overwhelming undertaking. RB jumped into action and we began re-imagining the entire space to add an additional 1800 sq feet. Thru their guidance and talented team, we successfully kept the original mid-century quintessential Austin look, while modernizing and adding space. Their architect designed our dream home and their team made it a reality. In 13 months they transformed our 3/2 into a modern 5/3, 3600 sq foot, single level, work of art. Everytime we talked to friends about their building/remodeling experience, they talked of scheduling slips, management challenges and never recommended their various GC's. We were nervous. But holy goodness...this team and the overall experience was amazing!!! Not only is the home gorgeous and unique, they managed to the schedule, executed flawlessly and when there were a few challenges, they were transparent and up front in their communication about everything! This built a trust that gave us peace of mind. They built us a new home that we absolutely love with our whole heart. We can't recommend this team strongly enough. We have had an incredible experience. Every single person we worked with had a positive attitude and seemed to love their work. This speaks volumes to the culture they have created and that permeates into their deliverables. We had an excellent remodel outcome with Remodel Boutique. We’d wanted to remodel for a long time but it seemed like such an overwhelming and scary thing to do. After putting it off for years, we finally decided to do it. We have an older home with lots of character that we wanted to maintain. We wanted to bring some modern elements and functionality but in a way that didn’t clash with the uniqueness of the home. Other groups seemed to push for a look that is trending at the moment, but Remodel Boutique really listened to our aspirations and shared in our excitement about bringing an older home to its full potential. We had three areas remodeled: Kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. They came up with designs that harmonize with the house that were beyond anything we could have imagined. Older homes are notorious for having bad storage and they found so much extra storage space in their designs. Between the beauty and the functionality, the difference in general living is amazing; less stress and a happier vibe. Additionally, staff were great to work with, the payments were divided throughout the project, and once the design phase was complete, there was a steady flow of talented folks on site working. They did a great job communicating when to expect various crews coming through. We could not be happier with the new life and lifestyle brought to our home.

We chose Remodel Boutique to build our Accessory Dwelling Unit (rental space in the backyard) based on their well deserved reputation and many awards, including one for pro bono work during the 2021 Winter Storm which meant a lot to me. We were so happy they chose to work with us. From the beginning we communicated easily and felt like we were all on one team: our vision, their making it a reality. We genuinely liked everyone we worked with. How often does someone say that about a contractors or a construction project? We were on a strict budget and they still found great options for us. And they built the ADU in record time. They were also really good about explaining the process to us such as the inspection timelines and requirement and each week they sent photos of what had been accomplished with notes of what to expect the following week. Although we were on a budget, we saw other RB projects and can attest they can do higher end ones too -- we wanted to move in! Love their style and their willingness to work on projects with tight budgets. We highly recommend Remodel Boutique!

The only thing we love more than our primary bed/bath/office addition was the experience working with Elizabeth, Michelle, Mingo, Becca and so many more at Remodel Boutique to make it happen! From day one everyone was incredibly clear and realistic with cost and timeline expectations, communication was prompt and thorough, and everyone we interacted treated our project with the care you would expect someone to extend only to their own home. I especially loved how they gathered materials on-site during the planning and permitting stages so when we were given the go-ahead everything was already here to expedite the process and go full steam ahead. Basecamp is such an excellent communication tool. Everything being in writing and accessible at any point in the project is worlds better than relying on quick phone calls and memory. They worked with me to find cost-effective options where possible—I’m looking at you, glass block window—and supported me indulging in my must-have splurges. It was so fun to be able to put together a truly custom look with folks who had the expertise to bring my eclectic wishes together. As with any project, there were hiccups here and there. The RB difference is that _every single time_ the priority was resolving the situation promptly to my satisfaction, not shifting blame, upcharging or cutting corners. We enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and will 100% reach out again on any future projects.

Working with Remodel Boutique was a breath of fresh air after many home renovation nightmares. When we decided to finally do our remodel I was nervous that it would be another project that would have hidden costs, be over schedule, leave us with a less-than-satisfactory remodel, and cause months and months of stress. But we had to do it because the kids were getting older and the housing market is insane. We went with Remodel Boutique because their work was lovely and they saw a vision for our house we couldn’t. Also, after dealing with so many condescending male contractors I needed to work with people who would be clear and treat me as a person with a mind. And thank goodness, because their work isn’t just lovely, it's solid. It was also on budget, under schedule, and they gave us upgrades we didn’t even know we needed! If you are lucky enough to work with this woman-owned firm you need to jump at the opportunity.

I'd hire them again without hesitation. The whole team seemed to care deeply that the project came out well. And it did! Great attention to detail, their process runs smoothly, and communication was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Working with Michelle and the Team was an absolute delight! We engaged with them to renovate our bathroom and increase the functionality of our living room. From start to finish they were communicative, professional and meticulous in their attention to detail. There were no surprises with regard to cost or timing - everything was on-time and on-budget. We recently completed a full remodel of our home with Remodel Boutique and had a great experience. I worked with Remodel Boutique to remodel my bathroom and upgrade the lighting to accent art and let me set the mood throughout my little 525 sq ft condo. I worked mainly with Becca (design) and Michelle (build). What they did for me is nothing short of stunning. Becca took to heart my goals for the bathroom and the RB team created something way beyond what I'd hoped for. (I had no idea I'd go bonkers for built-ins!) During the renovation, the charming and hilarious Michelle kept things on an even keel. The project was completed on time, on budget, and with quality MUCH higher than I expected. I fully recommend Remodel Boutique without reservation. 14/10 would let them tear apart/rebuild my place any time.

Michelle and Kristen did a major remodel for us end of 2019 and into 2020. They were such a pleasure to work with and did a really great job. We found the process of working directly with them instead of an architect and contractor to be so much more efficient and easier. Her team of guys that were out here all of the time were super nice. Our kids missed them when they were gone. We also lived in the house through the renovation and they did such a great job cleaning at the end of the day to make sure the place was safe for us. We would for sure hire them again! They took down a wall to expand our living room, did a kitchen reno and two bathroom renos, and built a deck!

The team at Remodel Boutique is fantastic. From answering our initial questions, to advising us on materials, to making adjustments on-site, they are all attentive (and patient) to the needs of their clients. They were always on time, left our house clean, addressed issues with subcontractors immediately and made changes as needed. When we wanted to install under cabinet lights that weren’t in the original plan, they installed them at no cost. Their attention to detail, consistent communication, and their commitment to make things right really impressed us. Our kitchen is beautiful and we are looking forward to working with them on our next project. Hire them! You’ll be glad you did.
