My experience with RL was defined by professionalism. A project manager met me at the site to discuss the project and prepare an estimate. This manager was my point of contact throughout the project, was easy to communicate with, was timely, had great follow-through. Often, working with contractors, it seems like I the client have to take responsibility to drive the project. That was not the case in my work with Roanoke Landscapes - RL had proactive communication and follow through. Very reasonable and nice to work with.

Roanoke Landscapes has completed five assignments for me over a period of three years, including a retaining wall, a driveway, paving a patio with ceramic tile, and supplying and planting shrubs. The quality of work in every case has been outstanding. They employ a skilled, experienced crew, and every job has been supervised by one of the owners, who has had a creative solution to every challenge the work has presented. They are not the cheapest landscape company, and their backlog of work has postponed the start of some projects, but the price is justified by high quality work, and the backlog is presumably due to strong demand for their services. I highly recommend them.

This company is TERRIFIC!! Hire them for your next project and you will not be sorry. Randy and Mary are wonderful caring people who are fabulous to work with -- knowledgeable, professional, reliable, with extremely fair pricing. They have completed both hardscape and landscape projects for us (most recently this May) and we are thrilled with the outcome. Their staff is impeccably neat and clean, amazingly quiet, outstandingly courteous. I cannot give them a high enough rating. We have recommended them to family and friends and will definitely use them again for any project.

I have been with Roanoke Landscapes since March of 2011. I am on what they call their Gold Plan. This plan provides for complete care and maintenance of my yard and shrubs, and this service has been excellent. Additionally, I have had other landscaping projects which were not a part of this plan provided at a very reasonable price. The personnel that provide these services are very through, take pride in their work, and are very courteous. I would highly recommend Roanoke Landscapes to anyone who would ask.

We have been a Roanoke Landscapes customer for close to 10 years and when we decided to move and remodel our new home, there was no other choice for us to handle the landscaping and outdoor living area than Randy and his crew. Roanoke Lanscapes designed and built our backyard patio to include a lighted sitting wall, gas fire pit and an extensive pavered area. They sodded our front and back yard, created all of our plant beds to include the construction of a rock landscaping wall, and installed our landscape lighting. Every aspect of their work is excellent and better than we could have imagined on our own. We use Roanoke Landscapes for our routine mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching and landscape upkeep. Their dedication to excellence is equally as apparent with every visit to the house. We have become friends with Randy and Mary and many of their employees over the years. We would never hesitate in recommending them to anyone considering any type of landscaping improvements or upkeep.

Roanoke Landscapes turned my "heavily treed landscape" into an oasis of sunlit beauty. After 30 years of living in the forest which had grown to impinge on my house, I asked Roanoke Landscapes to evaluate and recommend a solution. The result is a beautiful, easy to maintain surroundings for my home. It still blends into the wooded surroundings, but now has enough sunshine to grow plants. We "hardscaped" to form terraced grassy accents and built many wonderful retaining walls. I had many ideas from my travels and lots of pictures of what I liked. The staff accommodated my ideas into the design and the result is awesome. One feature is a Water Fall that is located just outside my screened porch. There are pictures on this site of my landscape. The owners actually work with their staff on site. All are professional, respectful and efficient. Also they continue to provide service (on request) as needed to maintain the landscape. Please note that my project was very large and was done over a 9 month period thus the cost as stated below.
