We have commissioned Santa-I to build an ephemeral museum on Broadway in NYC (The Velvet Underground Experience) (15 000 square feet) under the artistic direction of an internationally renowned designer. I must say that we were impressed by the quality of the work done, both for the heavy work and the finishes. They were amazing on all the compartments of the game. They kept to the deadlines and budgets with a rigor that I had never seen before. They are extremely competent and have delivered a very high quality project. Beyond their outstanding professionalism, I had the honor of working with exceptional people who did not count their time, enthusiasm and energy throughout the project. Nothing was impossible and always with a smile even in the most difficult moments. A simply exceptional team that I highly recommend to everyone.

I had a full gut on my Manhattan apartment. Bathroom, kitchen, floors, crown, new doors, hardware, lighting. Every surface was touched. They were extremely fast, excellent communication, they good resources for high-quality less expensive materials. It was such a painless experience, and worked around our schedule. Honestly, no need to look else where. I’m a designer and work with different contractors. This was so easy. Highly recommended.

Look nowhere else. Santa contracting Corp. is the company that gets it done! We hired them to build out our restaurant Beyond Sushi in Manhattan and they did an incredible job. They were always on top of things and very professional. They paid close attention to detail and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. If you are looking to hire a contractor that can do it all whether it be a residential project or commercial go for it. The team is truly lovely and these are people that you can trust to get the job done on time and the right way.

Very accommodating and collaborative. They evenhelped me curb costs with souring materials and worked around my family's schedule. Ultimately I'm very happy with the work; I would just make sure one of the supervisors checks the work of the day to day crew to make sure it's top notch.

After looking at 5 different contractors, Santa-I was the most professional, timely, and one of the most budget friendly contractor we looked at. There were some who were bargain basement pricing, but you could tell with their previous work, response rates, and interactions that you would get what you paid for. There were some who were pretty timely in response, knowledgeable and had a great portfolio, but had prices through the roof. Santa-I had a low (yet accurate) price estimate, knowledgeable and competent workers, quick response times, and professionalism. A fantastic balance that was right for us. What we liked best about the company is that they use all in-house labor and workers. This means that you don't have to wait for subcontractors and scheduling conflicts. Aside from the required City-licensed electrician and plumber, every person who worked in our house was a direct employee of Santa-I. This type of direct-hire protects you from a subcontractor taking a lien out on your home in case of a dispute with the main contractor, as the employee is getting a weekly paycheck, benefits, etc... As for the work, we had a gut reno done to expose an open loft. It used to be a boring, white box, but now has 60 feet of floor-to-ceiling exposed brick, new window sills using reclaimed wood, exposed and cleaned steel columns and beams. We had them build a small room with custom millwork, do tile work and complete a laundry room, resurface the floors, full paint, and even a bit of masonry repair on an unexpected hole in our brick wall. The team was able to competently and expertly handle any challenge that came up during the 4-month process, they were able to stay on budget, and meet their mandatory deadline for finishing work. We would definitely use them again for work in our New York City apartment.

Zachi, Javier, Wilmer and Marco did a great job on my kitchen and bath renovation. They were very professional, listened to my specifications and did their best to deliver what I asked and they were reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Santa-I renovated a bathroom for us. They were excellent. They were prompt, reliable, conscientious, and meticulous. Wilmer, Zachi and Javier supervised the work and were on the scene many times. They always responded quickly to phone calls and emails. The workers were a pleasure with whom to work, including Jorge and Marco. I will definitely call them if I have another project.

After shopping around for potential GCs, I discovered Zachi and his team to be by far the most competent, affordable and, most importantly, honest. Starting from the beginning, Zachi worked with me (daily to weekly) on potential alteration ideas for my apartment. I entered this project with a limited understanding, however, he was able to fully answer my questions and provide a detailed scope of the work, timeframe and cost. I was especially impressed by Santa I's flexibility to adjust my project as my tastes and desires changed. For example, I wanted to add additional kitchen shelves, countertop and change the aesthetic theme of my bathroom. Although it is ideal to have these decisions made in advance for the alteration crew, Zachi was able to make it happen with minimal disruption to the projected schedule. His team were also exceptional and some of the most professional specialists I've worked with. Protecting the work area, working with the super, and leaving by the designated times were strictly adhered to. Once the alteration was complete, the work exceeded my expectations. From my kitchen to bathroom, each facet of the project was fully consistent the proposal and executed with great care and consideration. Santa I is one of the few contracting companies out there that place customer service above all else while being able to maintain the highest of standards. Really, it's hard to find guys this good that also dedicate their time to make you as happy as possible. I will be using them again for another project in the near future - you should do the same. Zachi and his team were fantastic -- I highly recommend them. They did a complicated redesign of a closet that involved electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, they built and installed custom insulated radiator and air conditioner covers, did extensive painting, and handled many other issues that had gone uncorrected in our apartment for years. Zachi came in on budget (a first for us with a contractor), and his bid was competitive. The team was incredibly professional. They showed up on time and when promised, worked on Saturdays when necessary to meet our time constraints, and every single person had a great attitude. The project was very stressful because we were living in the apartment throughout, and they minimized the distruption. They were very quiet and respectful of our space, and just really, really nice people. We were extremely happy with the results. The paint we used on the ceiling was silver leaf that required painstaking attention to brush strokes, and several of the walls were high-gloss. They held themselves to a very high standard, redoing areas (with no charge) until it was perfect. They corrected other issues free of charge until we were completely satisfied, even if the fix was a pain for them. One of the radiator covers wasn't perfect, and rather than just fudging the problem area, they rebuilt the entire thing. We were blown away. We've never had a contractor be so accommodating and pay such attention to detail. Zachi and team were also really good about change orders. We had several, and they took them in stride and were very reasonable regarding price. Prior contractors had said that relocating our washer/dryer wasn't possible, but Zachi and Javier figured out a creative way to solve it. We've worked with several contractors in the past, and Zachi was head and shoulders above the others. We are picky clients, and it's hard to meet our standards, but Zachi did. I recommend him without hesitation.

I had significant work done to my apartment: painting, a new bathroom and wall panels. They did a beautiful job. And at the end of each day, they vacuumed and cleaned up which was important since I was living in the apartment. I am very pleased and wold hire them again. In fact, friends of mine who saw their work did hire them. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I have worked with Santa-I contracting on several projects over the past 3 years. Our first project with her was a kitchen re-model that we are still thrilled with. They listens and understands what is important to us then creates something that reflects us perfectly. We would never think of doing a project without Santa I contracting. They are phenomenal!
