We worked with Lindsay on a home remodel layout design. The home was small so we wanted to maximize the living space. She did an excellent job of listening to our desires and ideas then coming up with the perfect design combination of what we wanted and her own creative suggestions. Would definitely work with again and highly recommended. Easy to work with, smart, and creative!

I'm still amazed at what a great job Lindsay did redesigning my living room. She took into account family needs, comfort, style, and price, and came up with a design that is both unique and practical. It fits us perfectly, and it has turned a formerly cramped and dumpy space into one that is attractive, airy, and functional, with lots of cool, original little touches. I'd never worked with a designer before, but working with Lindsay was easy and enjoyable.

Working with Lindsay Boudreaux on our kitchen renovation was a dream! I could never have imagined that the whole process would have run so smoothly from beginning to end. I didn't initially think I could afford to hire a designer on top of paying for the kitchen. But working with Lindsay actually saved us money. We had talked to two kitchen design firms a year before working with Lindsay. Both of those firms knew what our budget was and told us it would not be a problem to work within that budget. However, when their numbers came in, the cost was considerably higher than our budget. Lindsay, however, was much more in tune with what we were able to spend and worked toward that end. She put us in touch with a cabinet distributor that had the right-priced cabinets and an awesome contractor who was not only reasonable, but whose work was beyond reproach. Lindsay was also spot-on with her design and her approach. When working with the two design firms last year, if I mentioned an idea, they would say, "Sure, we can do that," and simply add whatever it was into the plan and into the cost, never considering whether that idea would work with the overall plan. Lindsay, however, actually considered whether each idea I had would work with my space and would explain why it would or would not work. I know what I like, but I don't always know how to put it all together, so it was wonderful to be able to bounce ideas off of Lindsay. I feel like I avoided so many mistakes by working with her. Lindsay held my hand through the entire selection process and thought of everything so that all materials were on site when construction began, and the entire process only took 3.5 weeks! On the one or two occasions when we hit a bump in the road, Lindsay took over and dealt with the contractor in her very calm and reassuring manner. I really can't say enough good things about Lindsay and her calm demeanor--it was exactly what I needed to get through this process. The whole experience was awesome, and I hope to be able to use Lindsay again in the future.

My husband and I downsized from a large home to a condo and needed professional guidance on furnishing our new space. Designer Lindsay Boudreaux worked her magic and came up with an amazing plan that was exacting in the dimensions of furniture, rugs, lighting, accessories, color and placement that is beautiful and harmonious. It was so unexpected and yet so much what we wanted without realizing it. It is truly amazing what a professional can do to glorify a space.

Lindsay Boudreaux designed a beautiful bathroom for a neighbor so I asked for her card. I needed a master bathroom renovation that maximized the space in a tiny room and made it safer to use as we grow older. Lindsay's design accomplished this very well and her recommendations for finishes and products were excellent When we ran into an issue with the tub, she quickly emailed me some additonal options and it didn't end up affecting the time frame of the project at all. Our contractor found her design easy to follow with very few changes needed. This is the first time I have used an independent designer for a house project but I would do it again and hope it might be an opportunity to use Lindsay's talents in designing smaller spaces.

We hired Shotgun Double, LLC to redesign our main floor space (dining room, kitchen, sunroom, and part of living room). The space was dated, and not used well. We wanted more of an open concept.....and more modern look. We love the outcome. It's a great design....and I feel like I'm actually using every inch of my space now. Lindsay (the owner) has great ideas...and stays on from beginning to end of construction. She also is not pushy about her recommends...and takes your ideas and tastes into account. I would hire Lindsay again if I were to undertake anymore major house reconstruction.

I hired Lindsay when I did not have the faintest idea what my "style" was or what I really wanted. Lindsay was somehow able to not only figure out what my favorite style was for me, but she was also able to push me to try new things that I wasn't sure that I would like that I ended up LOVING. Lindsay also made sure to incorporate as much of our old furniture as she could into the design even if it was worn. Lindsay was so easy to work with and such a pleasure to be around I wish she could design for me more often. I would feel comfortable hiring her for anything. She picked great colors and furniture that was perfect for the space and our lifestyle with three kids and a dog. She also picked things from all different places so our house doesn't look like a page out of the Pottery Barn catalogue which was my goal.

Lindsey and the folks at Shotgun Double are rockstars! As an architect I work with a lot of consultants and Shotgun Double is one of the best. They always deliver stunning results and could not be nicer to work with.

I hired Lindsay to help with some custom valances for my family room. I already knew what fabric I wanted to use--and I had a general idea that I wanted a contemporary, clean look--but I didn't have a clue where to start, and all the "window treatment catalogs" showcased styles that were too traditional for me. Lindsay came to my house, immediately sized up my style, and gave me a clear, definite POV on what kind of a design I should implement, which windows to include, etc. Then she contacted an AMAZING tailor with whom she had worked before and brought him in to measure, talk to me, etc. She ordered the fabric, managed the production, and scheduled installation. The tailor's work was truly exceptional and his installer equally experienced. I could NOT be happier with my experience with Lindsay and would not hesitate to use her again for another design project.

I've worked with Lindsay on several projects over the past few years including re-thinking how we use and furnish the downstairs of our home, a kitchen renovation, and a major home renovation that included new floors, new bathrooms and a whole new look. Lindsay consistently delivered interior design solutions that met our needs and our budget. She excels at listening to her clients to understand what they want and providing options on the design of the space. Her approach to developing the final solution is incredibly collaborative. For example, we used Pinterest to share images of what we liked, furnishing ideas, tile for the bathroom, light fixtures, paint colors, etc. I also appreciated Lindsay's willingness to look for budget-friendly solutions that were high quality but without the designer price tag. I highly recommend that anyone seeking interior design advice call Lindsay to talk about their project. Our family lives in a 100-year old farm house in Alexandria, VA. With Lindsay's help, we have completed a full renovation of all interior spaces over the past 4 years. The renovation culminated with an invitation to appear on our local House and Garden Tour. During the tour, we heard comments that included "Is this a new house?" and "This is the best house on the tour." My husband loves our new master bathroom so much that he commented one day that he never wants to leave the room.
