We loved working with Soo and Sun. From the beginning they made the whole process feel a lot less stressful. At first we weren't even sure if we could fit an ADU in our backyard because we didn't have much space, and we also weren't sure what our budget was going to be. They were very patient with us took the time to understand what we wanted and showed us a few different options that could work. One thing we really appreciated was that they kept checking in with the contractor during the design process to make sure we were still on budget. That gave us a lot more confidence to move forward. It was also really nice being able to see 3D views of the inside and outside with detailed drawings, a clear budget, and a schedule. There were a lot of moving parts and things we didn't know, but they made it all easy to understand and helped us make decisions without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. Now that it's done, the ADU is honestly our favorite part of the property. Our family uses it all the time and we love how it turned out. We'd definitely recommend Soo and Sun.

It’s been two months since we moved in, and we’re still amazed by how everything came together. We've been working with SooetSun Studio on a new construction vacation rental project and strongly recommend partnering with them. During the initial meetings they were intentional about helping us define the project's goals, desired aesthetic, and budget. They presented us with multiple renderings that met our parameters, explained them in depth, and collaborated with us on design choices and changes. After the plans were completed SooetSun handled all of our permitting efficiently, sourced quality professionals to handle the required reports, and were extremely responsive in troubleshooting any questions or issues our contractors came across. Overall we've been happy working with them and hope to hire them for future projects.

We have a 1950 house in Palo Alto and wanted to extend the house. We were looking for architect and got the referral from an old friend who extended and renovated her house. It was Sooetsun studio. They first visited our house and suggested us to do the feasibility study of the house. We wanted to see the potential of the house and wanted to control the budget so, started the feasibility study first. They offered us many different options that we alone couldn't think of. We were happy about it! We narrowed down our option and once we decided on final layout, they started concept design of the house. Overall, I liked their design process. it was obvious and simple! Good thing was that they provide both architecture and interior services. I know that some people choose architect and interior designer separately but while doing the project, we realized that it will be more efficient and cohesive if the space can be designed at the same time with same team. While designing the space, we found it challenging to plan the interiors in detail, as many interior elements depend heavily on the final layout of the house. I also liked their design style. It was serene but lively! I like the way they use the color. it wasn't too much but overall playful and chic. Big thank you to Soo and Sun!

We worked with Soo and Sun of Sooetsun Studio on a full interior remodel of our 1960s ranch house, including a complete kitchen gut, a more open floor plan, and updates to both bathrooms. From day one, they were professional, warm, and incredibly thoughtful. They also continued to help throughout the permit and construction so the contractor can build following Soo and Sun's design.
