Pottery Barn – Chinook Centre, Calgary, Alberta. I had the opportunity to work with Silene on a home in Canmore, Alberta. Sticks and Stones is a talented group that understands what the client is looking for and has the vision to select the right products to make a house a home. The scale and the function of each room was diverse. Each furniture piece and accent detail was meticulously thought out and selected to fit the décor for each unique space. Having been in our downtown condo for 5 years, we felt we could develop better use of our living space and de-clutter the myriad of furniture we had collected over the years. Sticks + Stones came up with a plan for maximizing space efficiency with built-in drawers and closets that eliminated half of our furniture pieces. They also helped convert our den into an optional third bedroom. The results exceeded our expectations. Our home is now more functional and comfortable than before!

We worked with Sticks and Stones to build our home in Fernie. We had a basic plan when we started working with them but wanted to make some changes. Chase did a great job of designing the outside and Aleks made some great changes to our plan to make better use of space that I would not have thought of but so glad she noticed these things now that we are living in the space. She designed a ski/mud room for us, changed the kitchen/pantry to make it more useful, changed our master bath around which we love and this is just to name a few. Aleks also did an amazing job of making all of our interior selections from lighting, paint, tiles, flooring and everything else. She totally took the stress out of all of these decisions and picked beautiful options while being conscious of budget. She also provided the builder with interior drawings which made the building/finishing process go very smoothly. Silene did a great job of helping with furniture selection for our home. Where we had some furniture, she was excellent and finding the extra pieces we needed to finish off a room. Where we needed furniture for entire rooms, she chose quality pieces but again conscious of budget. The Sticks and Stones group put together a beautiful home for us in Fernie that we will be able to enjoy for years to come. I would highly recommend their services!

We worked with Sticks and Stones design group on our vacation home project in Canmore, AB. We had the designers, and architectural design staff involved from start to finish. We are so very happy with the results. The use of functional space is amazing. The finishes that they helped us choose are high quality and perfect. We also had the design staff help us to choose and place furniture to complete the space. They were able to pin point our tastes and what would work for our family and this was able to completed while keeping our budget in check. The sticks and stones staff are friendly, fun and easy going. We enjoyed our home building experience with them very much!!!

My husband and I worked with Sticks & Stones Architect Brad Perrault from July 2013 to March 2014 to design a house for a lot located in the Abbott St. Heritage Conservation Area with a 100 year old Maple tree which we wanted to preserve. We required a house which would allow us to age in place and be wheelchair accessible. We came to Brad with many ideas as well as constraints. Brad was brilliant in interpreting our ideas and designed a home which meets our needs and fits perfectly on the lot and into the heritage area.. Brad not only created a detailed set of drawings but helped us through the City's Heritage Review process and tendering process to select a Builder. I would strongly recommend Brad's services without reservation.

We had been trying unsuccessfully for several years to put together a plan for a new house on our farm. Each time we tried we just couldn't seem to get it right. A friend put us in touch with Craig at Sticks and Stones and we were impressed right away! He seemed to always understand exactly what we were trying to achieve - even better than we imagined! We were not sure how well the process would go doing most of our communication via email and phone calls but it was great! We had the opportunity twice to meet in person but could have worked through the entire process without ever meeting if necessary. Together Craig and Chase designed the perfect home for us! The builder we have chosen has used their work before and said the quality of their work is excellent! Upon our first meeting with Craig, he introduced us to Aleks in the Interior Design Department. She is fantastic! We spent a day in Canmore with her and some time working via email and phone calls. She put together a package that we will use throughout the building process right up to the finished product. She really understood what we were looking for in our home and was such a pleasure to work with! We would highly recommend Sticks and Stones to anyone:)
