I consulted Stoner Architects on a remodel project and lighting strategy. They brought some ideas to the project I hadn’t considered, including some thoughtful details. I appreciated how honest they were, and that they had a well-informed point of view on what aspects of the project were worth it, and what was a waste of money. When it came to executing, they were always professional, worked well with my contractor, and got back to us quickly when we had questions.

From the start my expectations were reset in a positive direction. I didn't know what "soft costs" meant and didn't have a full grasp of how complicated the design to feasibility to obtaining our specific construction permit really meant. The team at Stoner Architects, specifically Mark Stoner, helped with the design process, implementing a realistic timetable and cost basis and overall oversight throughout the entire renovation, start to finish and afterwards. Highly skilled, talented designs and resourceful to overcome challenging scenarios. An overall remarkable white glove experience start to finish.

I hired Stoner Architects to draw an initial architectural plan for a gut renovation of my apartment in New York. Although they are based in Seattle, I am familiar with their work and wanted them to do the initial design off of which a local architect could springboard (e.g., using local code knowledge and providing ongoing support). The plan really maximized my space (not an easy task in Manhattan), and the transformation is unbelievable. I was really happy with how my project turned out - every inch was carefully considered, and they brought a crisp, modern feel to a pre-war apartment.

Peter Stoner and his team of architects are not only professional and brilliant, they have the ability to see your vision through your eyes and make it reality. Peter specifically pays attention to every detail while consistently focusing on the big picture. On multiple occasions he remembered things about the original plan that we so often forgot in all the complexities of the project. He also is a problem solving whiz.
