If I could give a 100 stars, I would! My small San Francisco apartment looked like a college dorm room before working with her, and now it looks like a tasteful grown-up residence that is a reflection of my personal aesthetic. Susan’s provided suggestions about everything in the living room, from draperies to wall color to dining chairs. As someone with zero design background, it has been an extraordinarily important learning experience to work with her, and the knowledge will be lifelong. Susan is a great listener, and I could tell that she customizes her recommendations to to people’s budgets, how people want to used the spaces, and personal aesthetic. Susan has been absolutely wonderful to work with and is incredibly skilled at her profession. She listens carefully and is responsive and flexible. In addition, she has an incredible eye for design and fabrics and an exquisite sense of style. Our goal was to have a home that looked beautiful yet was comfortable and welcoming. Given our casual, yet busy, lifestyle (which includes a dog and kids), we wanted to be able to freely live and entertain in our home without needing to worry about the furniture. Susan helped us to surpass our goals using beautiful, yet durable materials! She was involved at many levels including picking wall and floor colors; selecting tile, light and bathroom fixtures, and furniture; and working with our contractor when designing the renovations. Thanks to Susan, our home has been transformed into a relaxing respite to come home to after a long day at work and a place where the kids now do their homework and hang out with us downstairs (instead of in their rooms). We get compliments all the time and it is without hesitation that I give Susan my highest recommendation!

We recently worked with Susan to remodel our family room and the results far exceeded our expectations! I am in love with our new space and cannot wait to collaborate with Susan again! Our house is not big and we were not using our space well. With her well trained eye, innate sense of style, and ability to really listen to what we hoped to achieve, Susan created a space that is modern, functional, and glamorous; one where we all enjoy spending time together. I cannot say enough about Susan Corson!!! Several of our friends had used Susan for their interior design. They adored her and I had seen her work and was impressed. Still, when we moved into our new home, I interviewed 4 other recommended designers in addition to Susan. I had a few "test" questions, for areas of our home where I was not sure of certain design solutions. When I finally met Susan, I wondered why I had wasted my time speaking with anyone else. I was immediately impressed with her professionalism, the solutions she had, her sense of what would work in the style of our home, and, last but not least, I knew that I would really enjoy working with her. To say that I was right on all accounts is an understatement. It didn't take long for Susan to "get" me and we quickly developed a working relationship that allow us to efficiently choose furniture, wallpaper, carpets, window treatments and accessories that would create the warmth that I was looking for in our home. I had given Susan a time frame and budget, and she completely satisfied our requirements. As we shopped, I was impressed with her relationships with vendors, and she never failed to make sure that everything arrived and was installed perfectly. We have a large home, but it is cozy, warm and inviting. My husband also liked all Susan's suggestions, and he trusted her completely with any ideas she brought to us. My two teenagers loved working with her as well, and their bedrooms totally reflect their personalities. My guests always remark on how beautiful yet comfortable it is. Susan's exquisite taste, along with her ability to work with her clients' tastes, or, in my case, to help me "find" my style, is a guarantee that she will find the perfect treatment for every corner of a home. I had worked with another designer in my old house, and it took her six months to find a wallpaper that I liked for my master bathroom. With Susan, on too many occasions to mention, she nailed it on the first try; this was an indication of how well she knew what I would like and what would work. Don't waste your time with other designers- call Susan Corson!! You will LOVE her, as all her clients do.

Susan Corson worked with us over several years as we did a complete renovation of our home. She designed the interiors for almost every room in the house, selecting wall color, fixtures, flooring, rugs, drapes and all furnishings. The result is an extremely harmonious and satisfying environment. Susan has impeccable taste; her designs render clean, simple and very elegant spaces. Her choices of color and finishes are always in harmony. At the same time, she is not afraid to introduce whimsey or eclectic touches. Susan listened really well to what we liked. She was particularly effective at combining our often very different tastes into a common style. We've worked with other interior designers, but Susan is by far the best.

I have worked with Susan Corson on both of my homes for the past 13 years--on all projects, big and small. She has a wonderful eye and vision, and she connects and develops my vision. Susan is incredibly creative and resourceful and she is always dependable and professional. I have never had missed dates or confused orders. Or expensive, unexpected add-ons! She works easily and seamlessly with work crews. I wouldn't work with anyone else. Susan also has a lovely personality and is a pleasure to be around.

Susan has excellent listening, communication and organizational skills. She will ask questions to be sure that she completely understands your point of view. I came to see her as a very practical interior decorator who can deliver good value for both modest and high end projects. Susan is extremely resourceful. Susan has been extremely helpful to me with our new home. She has great style, is highly professional, and very patient - a very talented designer. She also has a wonderful group of contacts for draperies, installations, and custom furniture, etc. Susan introduced me to designs and stores that I never would have known and it has paid off. We wanted our home to be warm and fresh, but not overly done - we are very happy with it and receive many compliments. You won't regret hiring her!

We have worked with Susan for over ten years. We have done projects as large an entire home to redecorating a child's room to just freshening up with some new pillows. She is easy to work with, always willing to listen and reflect our vision, and has excellent taste. No matter the project, we have always found her to be respectful of our budget, creative with use and placement of existing furniture and responsive to any issues or requests. susan is very easy to work with. we have worked with decorators in the past who push for the most expensive products. not with susan. she listens to your wants and needs and most importantly, your budget. she has a great eye and has great ideas. we have used her for furniture placement when moving into a smaller apartment and also for redecorating. both times we were very pleased with her work and with the end result.

I have worked with Susan on many projects in my home. Kitchen redo, master bedroom, redoing of couches in my den and living room. Each time she brought a great deal of knowledge and fabulous artistic and visual understanding to each project. We worked well together and she brought her professional experience to these projects. Susan is an outstanding decorator. She listened to our ideas but always had suggestions of her own. She had extensive experience in the area - she always seemed to know someone who could do the job, whatever it was. She also has an unfailing eye for color and texture, and wonderful taste. I would use her again in a minute - and often do ask her advice! We worked together over a few years.
