Susan designed at least a dozen kitchens, bathrooms and pieces of furniture ( the important things ) for the homes that I was developing.She is smart and very professional, with great design sense. She is particularly excellent at layout and stone work!

Susan was quick to understand our preferences, yet encouraged us to think out-of-the-box. She had a great sense for the 'feel' we wanted to convey in each room. Her recommendations for layout, colors, fabrics and furnishings were synchronized and not trendy. We hired Susan Witman when we purchased our dream home in Sun Valley Idaho. It is a custom design home and knowing I needed the assistance of a professional, I interviewed Susan as well as a few other firms in the valley. When Susan walked in the door she instantly saw things to transform the house that no one else saw. Working within our budget, she created the most perfect environment for our family. Her furniture selections are of the highest quality and the fabrics unique and stunning. We were so pleased in fact, that when we purchased a home in S. California, I flew her down to help us there. All I can say is that everytime anyone walks into either of our homes the first comment is "WOW" . It is amazing.

I have worked with Susan and her team on two projects over the past several years. One was an extensive yearlong remodel that included material selection for all surfaces, all cabinetry, window treatments, room layouts and furniture. Susan did a remarkable job designing the interior of our new 5000 sq. ft. home. Not only did she work well with all our own ideas but teamed up with the architect and contractor to bring together the home of our dreams. Susan's professional skills and resources went way beyond our expectations from cabinets to stone, wood to fabric. Friends always ask, "where did you get that?" and the answer is always the same, "with the help of Susan Witman". There is not one thing we would change or do over.

Susan helped us with a major remodel of our Sun Valley home. Not only did she select fabrics and furnishings that were spot on, but she designed built in cabinetry for almost every room. She is a perfectionist; every spec was perfect. More importantly, Susan has an incredible design sense and an ability to completely understand the style wishes of the client. And she has the ability to guuide the client to make appropriate design decisions that result in an integrated look reflecting the style, preferences andi nterests of the client. Her flexibility and range are amazing. Susan also is very creative coming up with uniquely crafted tile or glass, installations or any material desired by the client. You want an all glass and stainless home-she can do it. How about all wood. Easy. Susan is a trained professional with decades of experience in three states. She tirelessly works to help the client achieve a home with the look and feeling they want. We have just purchased a second home in Santa Barbara. It is a 1923 classic California cottage. We cannot wait to get started on it with Susan!
