I needed to furnish a 1000 square foot penthouse apartment. I know what I like when I see it...the problem for me is that I can’t seem to pick things that go together. Fortunately, Tatiana can!!! She spent several hours with me showing me many different options. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! I plan to continue consulting with Tatiana on any future designing/furnishing/decorating needs. She is a pleasure to work with.

Great consult. Our home desperately needed help, and I'm sure Tatiana often on much nicer homes. However, she wasn't at all judgmental and gave fantastic advice that was relevant to our current state and goals. In addition, she was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Tatiana helped us display family photos and other memorable pictures on several of our walls in our home. She did an amazing job with so many of them and people are always commenting on how wonderful they look on the walls. She took the time to understand our preferences and helped us pick furniture that we were not only happy with but also reflects our tastes. We hired Tatiana for a master bath remodel. Our budget for design was very small and our timeline was very short, but she worked hard to get as much done as she could within our budget and within the window of time we had. I started off thinking I wanted one thing, and Tatiana showed me several options along that line, but she also showed me a few other "possibilities" that really excited me and we ended up going a whole different direction than we had originally planned (and that is a good thing). Tatiana is very knowledgeable and very kind. She presents you with a few choices, and then a few more and helps you narrow your project down so it doesn't seem so overwhelming. I would definitely hire her again. I am so excited to see how everything comes together. Our project should be done by January and I will post some before and after pictures then.

Professional, no-nonsense approach and delivering a mind blowing end result! From the beginning of our 4-month remodeling journey Tatiana was a dream to work with. I went with my gut and trusted her from the beginning to the end of the project. Thank God I was right. She took every step of our remodel under her wing and we honestly felt like she was building her very own dream home! Letting go and having her control everything was the best decision we could have made! So what we gave Tatiana to start with is a 1970s Rambler about 1200 sq ft. 3 bedroom 1 bath and a powder room. On a side note I paid her to keep an eye on the construction guys too and make sure all her work wasn’t ever compromised. She was ON IT from the beginning to end! Helping the guys keep track of exact measurements of all the modifications etc. We have no clue how to remodel a home and was really blown away at how detailed you must be to remodel your house from ground up! We got together 2 or three times a week so she could check in and make sure we were ok with her choices. She always gave us two or three choices of things and let us know her recommendations. We always went with what she recommended. I really wanted to let her work, I had seen her previous jobs and knew that she could do wonders if she just had the reigns. Anyway, I’ll have to cut this short since it’s a review on a site. Below are the things that stood out to us that Tatiana did to take care of us and our needs. 1)She was 100% honest with us and what she spent. What a relief to have someone who loves their job and was in it yes to make money but let us know where every dime was spent! 2)He attention to detail from the Tile Grout to the Cabinets to the Appliance that match the hardwood floors. AMAZING! 3)She worked soooooooooo hard on our home! Work many hours for free to make sure everything was perfect! We never asked her to, she just did it on her own! What a doll! So sweet! 4)She is SUPER passionate about her job as an Interior Designer. 5)She is ON IT! Everyone she hired she was at every delivery sending things back if they weren’t just right! Never compromising on quality and never worried about returning something if it wasn’t perfect! (this is hard for both me and my wife we hate returning things). 6)Everything she chose for our design was BRILLIANT! Absolutely gorgeous! We never in a million years would have though our little tiny horribly designed Rambler with ugly cabinets, ugly carpet, horrible layout of the house could look like it does now. MIND BLOWING! I uploaded a few photos. 7)4 Months of exquisite design work. She not only designed our Interior but asked if we would mind if she could help us with the exterior as well. For nothing! Just because we had a great rapport and she wanted to help us make our dreams come true. She did! 8)So long story short she was the best person for the job, the best person for the design, the best person for her honesty, the best person for her passion, the best person for her smarts about the whole job inside and out. If you want the best in the business of Interior Design, hire Tatiana Hisel. You will NOT be disappointed. Just let her do what she does and I recommend not getting in her way! She will blow your mind after you see the work she does! We think she is a peach and are glad she was on our project. We actually messaged a couple other people on Houzze.com in the Washington area and got no reply. Probably because they thought our job was too small for them? I have wanted a change for my family room for a long time and I was just stuck, not knowing which direction to go. Tatiana sourced a perfect sofa and chairs within my budget. She also resolved my flooring dilemma and the contractor she recommended was wonderful. My family room actually feels like a brand new space now. So happy!

Tatiana was on top of our extensive home remodel project to the last detail. This was our first remodel and we were nervous but Tatiana heard what we were looking for and searched high and low until we loved each and every decision made regarding finishes. The end product is amazing and we get compliments any time we have visitors, especially regarding our custom kitchen Aqua backsplash. She's decisive, sharp with details, and knows her design. On the side, she's got plenty of experience regarding cabinetry too as a bonus!

I am a first-time home buyer. We employed Tatiana (Tanya) as the interior design consultant for a new single family home under construction (by Murray Franklyn). We chose Tanya based on excellent reviews provided by fellow colleagues who had previously benefited from her services. We engaged her very early in the home building process. Although we originally planned to use her services for furniture selection, we extended her project scope to get recommendations on interior paint selection, bathroom upgrades, kitchen upgrades, flooring upgrades as well. Her expert advise has resulted in a very beautiful home well appreciated by family, friends, and acquaintances. Tanya is customer-obsessed and went out of her way to capture our design preferences, budget constraints, and family needs before proposing a set of choices for each selection. She patiently listened to our feedback and explored additional options as needed. The stress-free experience has helped us finalize upgrades and furniture selection for the entire home (living room, Dining room, family room, bed rooms, prayer room, recreation room). Tanya also helped us choose appliances and accessories whenever we asked for her help. Tanya is very professional, completed work ahead of time, and very willing to accommodate our schedules at quick notice. She applied her designer discounts towards our furniture purchases at various retail stores to help us realize up to 30% savings. Her fees are very reasonable - she charged us on an hourly basis and we had an option to end the consultation as needed. Overall, Tanya's services have removed stress out of our home buying experience without breaking our budget. I strongly recommend her services to anyone either purchasing a home or re-modeling their existing home.

Tatiana met us at Contract Furnishings Mart in Redmond to work with us on backsplash tile selection for a kithchen remodel project. We had already picked out our new granite and gave that to Tatiana in advance, as well as pictures of our kitchen area. By the time we got to CFM, she had already picked out 15 or more possible suggestions for tile. We reviewed all the selections she came up with, along with a few more she pulled as she learned our taste - it was very helpful to have someone that knows all the inventory when there are hundreds of possible directions to go in. She was very helpful on color compatability with our new granite and also recommended a tile orientation that would look more contemporary to match our taste (hadn't even thought about that!) She had a good process for eliminating the tile we liked the least, until we got it down to the top two or three. Final selection was something we probably would not have found on our own. Great designer, highly recommeded and we would definitely consult with her again.
