Chalk Hill LLC

I had hired Chalk Hill construction to rebuild a recreational deck over my garage roof. The original contractor had used less-than-optimal materials and there had been decay of the composite 'boards'. I had most of the deck removed in June of 2020. I had made several attempts to find a contractor to do a re-build, without success. Through a roofing contractor I had used to do routine maintenance, I was introduced to Roger Radd of Chalk Hill construction. He came out to my home, and indicated that he could perform the necessary construction, using much improved materials. Roger explained the whole building process that he and his crew would be doing, and it was nice to see the deck take shape per his plans. I am very happy with the quality of materials and labor. A crew of three had the deck re-built, and I couldn't be happier. It is essentially an 'extra room' that I have. They cleaned up virtually every scrap of building material after doing their work.

Roger and his team were professional and did a nice job installing our new TREX deck. Will definitely hire them again.

Working with Roger Radd and Chalk Hill was a great experience. The project was completed on time and on budget. Several additional changes were made to the original plan and scope of work and Roger was able to complete the additional projects within the original timeline. Roger built us a 32'x32' deck that turned out great. He was willing to work with us on details and was very quick to get to work and get the project finished. Communication was great and we are very pleased.

Roger was wonderful to work with. The deck is beautiful. There were a couple of glitches, but were handled very professionally. I would gladly use them again.

If you hire Roger Radd he will get the project done on time and he is there everyday working on the home and making sure the scheduled contractors show up. The quality is top notch. He did a complete remodel on my home that was just a shell of a building. He thinks ahead of time and can plan accordingly. If you deal with other contractors in the area you will find they don't see an issue until it is right in front of them and then you have to wait for them to resolve it. Roger will order materials that he knows he will need ahead of time instead of waiting until the last minute delaying the project.

When installing a small bath in Sedona AZ. the difficulty was finding a company that could provide reclaimed wood for a floating vanity and shelves. Chalk Hill Construction was recommended. Roger responded promptly and created a beautiful reclaimed wood vanity and shelves from cedar telephone poles from a desert in the Southwest. He built, finished and installed them totally on schedule. I highly recommend Chalk Hill to anyone who needs creativity, quality craftsmanship and a good businessperson.

Received a bid on our patio account we had seen work that Roger had done on other projects and liked his work. Bid was fair and work was very wells done, patio turned out as we had planned and there was no surprises when it came time to pay. There are construction companies and then there is Chalk Hill LLC. Certainly one of a kind and superior custom works! Having a chance to work with Chalk Hill LLC, we were completely blown away at the work this company can do. Everything is custom tailored to each customers preference and may I add, with miraculous results.
