Studio Ocra is a Brooklyn-based interior design studio rooted in Brooklyn and New York City and led by Valeria Fervorari and Andrea Guatta Caldini. Our work spans new builds, gut renovations, restorations, and remodels, through refined interiors, bespoke furniture, and custom objects. Each project is approached with a timeless design sensibility, thoughtfully considering every element, from interior and landscape to the smallest custom detail. Guided by our Italian heritage, the studio’s name OCRA comes from the Italian word for ochre, an ancient pigment symbolizing history, origin, and permanence. This color embodies our philosophy: where historic character and contemporary design meet in a quiet balance. With a focus on high-end residential interior design, we create spaces that are both enduring and deeply personal, grounded in context, yet never bound by convention. Our mission is to elevate everyday living through thoughtful design. We work closely with our clients from the first conversation to final installation, ensuring that every solution and decision feels both intuitive and intentional.
