Loved this article! I could use some direction... I have chosen Cole and Sons iconic 'Woods and Stars' wall paper for an upstairs whimsical space. My children will be using it for play and for school work. I am struggling with mixing patterns. I have a neutral buffalo check Roman shade being made for the window, not sure about what to do for a rug! I didn't want to go solid because it will show more, but worried a pattern will compete with the wall paper. Help?
