I've been asking several people what they do with the step out bath mat when you have a curbless shower - any advice? We are considering a 55" x 31" glass shower with linear drain and possible floating bench but we are stuck on what happens after the shower, when you step out of the curbless glass door. No mat?

To Kari: Our remodel will include a curbless, doorless shower (we'll step into it behind a 60" high partition, like an alcove). Even with careful design to slope the floor towards the drain placed in the middle of the shower floor, we expect some water to escape, so no bath mat for us. This forced us to include radiant floor heating to avoid cold feet. Also we were told the radiant heating dries up the water fasting than without it.
