Unique Kitchen Tile
If there is one thing in design I am sick of beyond belief, it's prioritizing design decisions for resale. Now, it's one thing if you are planning on doing a quick flip or if you are in a starter home you plan on leaving within a few years. In those cases, yes, you want to stay neutral and try to appeal to as many potential buyers down the road as possible. However, when it's your own home, the kitchen is the heart of it, and you should only worry about making it your own, and not how strangers on the internet will rate it!
Tile is a fairly permanent feature to install - when your tastes change or if you are trying to sell your home, it is not the easiest design element to switch out. However, it is also such a great opportunity to truly put your own stamp on your kitchen, and my philosophy is to go with what you love. The following kitchens all have at least one thing in common: They feature spectacular unique tile work. These choices dazzle and make these kitchens jump out at me. It makes me want to inhabit these kitchens, and to know more about the people who live in these homes.
