We took this dark and dated bathroom up a notch! the shower niches add great storage and function. The plantation shutter allows for light up top and privacy below. The shiplap walls add architectural details and make an subtle statement wall.

Custom master bathroom with large open shower and free standing concrete bathtub, vanity and dual sink areas. Shower: Custom designed multi-use shower, beautiful marble tile design in quilted patterns as a nod to the farmhouse era. Custom built industrial metal and glass panel. Shower drying area with direct pass though to master closet. Vanity and dual sink areas: Custom designed modified shaker cabinetry with subtle beveled edges in a beautiful subtle grey/beige paint color, Quartz counter tops with waterfall edge. Custom designed marble back splashes match the shower design, and acrylic hardware add a bit of bling. Beautiful farmhouse themed mirrors and eclectic lighting. Flooring: Under-flooring temperature control for both heating and cooling, connected through WiFi to weather service. Flooring is beautiful porcelain tiles in wood grain finish.

Retro Mid-Century Inspired Bathroom Remodel in a classic 1960 Ranch house in Harrisonburg, VA. This custom designed bathroom remodel included cork flooring, a vintage dresser converted into a vanity cabinet, custom framed mirror, custom privacy screen/planter/partition wall, and custom shower niches in classic white subway tile with sea green and aqua penny round tiles.

An updated master bathroom in a vintage 1900 cottage. The modern glassed-in shower enclosure adds 21st century amenities with the mounted towel bar on the door, a rain head shower and hand held sprayer. The knee wall provides privacy for the toilet area and additional storage with the built-in niche on the outside while supporting a corner bench in the shower. Although the tile looks like marble it is actually easy care porcelain. Beaded wainscoting was designed to look original to the period and all moldings were matched to the homes original trim of the door and doorframe. The blue walls, Sherwin Williams 6477 Tidewater, provide a bright but soothing bath experience. Steven Long Photography
