Clay brick pavers were chosen and installed in a running bond pattern for the walkways. The front walk leads guests to the front door through a stunning perennial garden. The large circular design in the front walk creates a great focal point. A clay brick walk leads guests through a post and beam arbor into the backyard entertaining space. This space includes a post and beam pergola with three posts, circular seating bench and wood burning fire pit that creates an intimate space. Clay brick accents were incorporated in the grill island and large wood burning fireplace and columns. Fire features were integrated into the columns on each side of the fireplace and seat walls.

The bench curves around the space and connects with the kitchen area. The fire bowl, which nestles in the circular part of the bench, is oversized as not to be overwhelmed by the open space.

Jane uses outdoor fabric pillows to repeat the colors of the garden. Each season has its own colors. Come on down and have a seat before the metal fire pit when it gets cool from the winds off the San Francisco Bay.

Another view of the upper patio with Sonoma fieldstone and blue stone circular bench that serves as a retaining wall and provides ample seating for visitors. The majestic oak tree is a primary focal point in this setting and frames the distance hillsides and a bay view. Decomposed granite patio and pathways. Inspiration for a huge contemporary master gray tile and porcelain tile porcelain tile bathroom remodel in Houston with an undermount sink, dark wood cabinets, multicolored walls, quartzite countertops, a wall-mount toilet and flat-panel cabinets

Furthering her plan to enhance the room's architecture, Suzanne turned one corner of the kitchen into a cheery dining area with an L-shaped built-in bench that mimics the cabinetry. To keep the dining nook cozy (not restaurant-like) she surrounded the metal bistro table with slipcovered armchairs and hung a sparkly chandelier above.
Using the same patterned fabric on the window valances and pillows throughout (Montmartre in Clay/Blue from her own collection for Lee Jofa; leejofa.com), Suzanne introduced color and life to the kitchen without taking away from the all-white effect. Photo by Erica George Dines for Southern Living

Family members enter this kitchen from the mud room where they are right at home in this friendly space.
The Kitchens central banquette island seats six on cozy upholstered benches with another two diners at the ends. There is table seating for EIGHT plus the back side boasts raised seating for four more on swiveling bar stools.
The show-stopping coffered ceiling was custom designed and features beaded paneling, recessed can lighting and dramatic crown molding.
The counters are made of Labradorite which is often associated with jewels. It's iridescent sparkle adds glamour without being too loud.
The wood paneled backsplash allows the cabinetry to blend in. There is glazed subway tile behind the range.
This lovely home features an open concept space with the kitchen at the heart. Built in the late 1990's the prior kitchen was cherry, but dark, and the new family needed a fresh update.
This great space was a collaboration between many talented folks including but not limited to the team at Delicious Kitchens & Interiors, LLC, L. Newman and Associates/Paul Mansback, Inc with Leslie Rifkin and Emily Shakra. Additional contributions from the homeowners and Belisle Granite.

This hand-cut flagstone patio with seatwall and inset lighting complements its beautiful woodland surroundings just outside Athens GA. The double function of the seatwall gives a clean, uncluttered look, as the space is kept free of furniture. The patio is designed and located to create an inviting view from the house, drawing the viewer outside, but without obstructing the view of the grounds.

At the epicenter of the outdoor space is the circular fire lounge and patio that beckons guests from the moment they enter the home’s front door. Appearing to float within the pool, the 8 foot circular lowered fire lounge and patio area is constructed of tumbled travertine pavers in a French pattern. Cladded with glass tile and a two foot precast concrete cap, the glowing fire pit measure five foot in diameter. To enjoy the warmth and conversations, seating within the fire pit areas includes custom designed circular benches of tile with raised backing. Decorative pillows and cushions add to the comfort for viewing the entire patio area.
