The decking materials are Trex Transends which is an encapsulated composite material with a 25-year warranty. Compared to a wood deck, this composite material is relatively maintenance free. A good washing every now and then will suffice. The large beam structure allows cars to drive under the deck and into the carport just out of view on the right.
