Bannell Custom Decks created this beautiful multi level balcony deck using Horizon Decking in Ipe. Not only is this deck great for lounging but it is also perfect for entertaining- day or night.

Steps off of a 45 degree corner eliminates the "boxed" look. This shot demonstrates the good looks of black balusters and white/tan railing combination.

The step lighting and LEDs around the perimeter allow the homeowners to enjoy their deck day or night.

Building a multi-level deck? Don’t forget to consider the view when looking up from the lower level. Composite decking with a four-sided cap layer will ensure the boards look great from any angle. Shown here: Fiberon Symmetry Decking in Warm Siena.

This Birmingham deck was built using TimberTech Tropicals composite decking in Amazon Mist and a striking deck railing system with an urban retro feel. The railings are from TimberTech’s Evolutions Rail Contemporary line. The homeowners selected black low-maintenance posts and rail caps with see-through stainless steel cable infill instead of the traditional balusters or pickets. Looking through the railings, the cables are barely visible, so anyone on the deck has an unobstructed view of the yard and surrounding foliage.

This eco-friendly deck is made from Fiberon composite decking. The step-up design helps define different areas of the space. The planting beds at the perimeter of the deck also frame the space and add extra color. The home owner found a creative use for the deck boards... matching built-in bench seats! The product used is Fiberon's ProTect Advantage, in the 'Western Cedar' color.

Built-in seating adds function and heightens the visual interest of this ground-level deck. With its close resemblance to exotic hardwoods, Fiberon Horizon Decking in Ipe amps up dramatic appeal. The finished look is clean and contemporary, but far from ordinary.

This balcony deck features Envision Outdoor Living Products. The composite decking is Spiced Teak from the Distinction Collection.
