These impressive double curved staircases create a grand entrance worthy of this exquisite custom home. Black-painted oak treads and handrail, which match the upstairs hardwood flooring, are paired with crisp white risers, establishing a bold foundation for the design, while a custom wrought-iron balustrade brings Old World craftsmanship to the space. Rounded bullnose starting steps on each staircase provide an elegant invitation to ascend, softening the grand scale with graceful curves. Our homeowners had an issue with their old kitchen in that it felt very cramped and didn't work well. Additionally the bulkheads made it feel very closed in. We put together a design to more efficiently use the space, picked some amazing materials, and the rest is history as they say. Premium Canadian made cabinetry was utilized in the customers chosen Benjamin Moore colours, along with new quartz countertops and waterproof Luxury vinyl plank flooring which is ideal for a kitchen space. A porcilain "brick look" backsplash tied it all together. As you can see, unifying the eating area with the island is a vastly better use of space than the original builder plan and for those larger gatherings, the dining room is right beside the kitchen. Have a look at the original photos and you will see that this kitchen has improved dramatically for the better!

In the kitchen, the cabinet color for the perimeter is Painted Silk. On the island, the color is Maple Espresso. For the tops, they chose Viatera Quartz and the color is called Aira. In the master bath, the cabinet color is callled Maple Mocha Glaze. The top is cultured marble and the color is called Carrera Sage. The second bath has Aristokraft cabinets, the color is called Sinclair Birch, Sarsaparilla. The top is cultured marble and the color is Carrera Frost. Laundry room has Contractor Choice Cabinetry. The color is Newberry Birch, Sarsaparilla. For the top they chose, Laminate called Timberworks with waterfall edge.
