C&S did a complete renovation of a townhome we purchased in Clayton in 2017. They did an outstanding job in every way and I would use them again without question. They had great ideas about transforming the space and all of their work was of the best quality. They were on budget for the work (and for the inevitable extras like a second a/c unit we decided we wanted) and were very easy to deal with. Their subs (like painters) also all did a great job. Nancy Francis works with them on design and decorating so it is the complete package. We’ve lived here almost two years and still love everything about it. I have attached a couple of pictures of the kitchen and master bath.

Chris Bednarek and Jeff Carapella did a wonderful job on renovation our 25 year old town house in Clayton. The kitchen was gutted with a wall taken down, sound wall added, overhead floor supports added, new kitchen and fireplace built, new half bath, new electric service and lighting, new master bath and closet, We worked well together; so much so I started working with them by forming Nancy Francis Design. My neighbor had recommended them to me and I am thankful.

Chris Bednarek of C & S Custom Building LLC managed the simultaneous renovation of all 3 bathrooms in our 1938 home in Pasadena Hills, MO. Chris is a master carpenter who offers high quality work while paying attention to detail in design, budget, professionalism, and happiness of his clients. I trusted Chris, Jeff, and all their subcontractors in my home. In fact, by the end of the project they all felt like family. The project took about 14 weeks which included a complete gut, expansion, and remodel of our master bath, full bath, and a 1/2 bath. Jeff built us beautiful custom cabinets, giving us ample storage which is an oddity in an old home. Nancy Francis of Nancy Francis Design worked closely with Chris and Jeff helping us create beautiful spaces we will like for years to come. My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the outcome of our project and would highly recommend C & S Custom Building and Nancy Francis Design for your next home remodel.

Jeff did a fantastic job on our kitchen and powder room. Jeff has excellent attention to detail and understands how to work with the client to meet all our needs and to inform us of what is possible, affordable, functional and great looking. His wood working skills are outstanding as exhibited by the custom cabinetry he designed and built for our kitchen and the customer wooden sink table for our powder room. The only issue we had was the schedule got a little extended but, let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

We love Jeff Carapella at Custom Woodwork LLC. He has completed 2 complete guts of our master and 2nd bathrooms. We are so very pleased with his attention to detail and very consistent and high quality of work. He has amazing subs that work with him. He checks in with my husband on I on a very regular basis and helps problem solve. He always has several choices and works within our budget. We will always be calling Jeff for any house project and will gladly pay his fees. He is a genuine, caring, easy-going and extremely trustworthy individual that we enjoyed with Jeff. My husband is very particular and had a lot of questions throughout the project. Jeff never made us feel like our pickiness or questions were too much. We stupidly hired another contractor for our 2nd bathroom that did not work out, we were so disappointed. But we called Jeff back to help us finish and he was thrilled and gladly took the job over. We could not speak any higher of Jeff and we wish him all the best. We will continue to talk about him to everyone doing a bathroom or kitchen or any woodworking project.

Absolutely one of the best cabinet makers I've had the pleasure to work with! Jeff is a true craftsman that knows his cabinets. We are so pleased with our kitchen and receive compliments every time someone sees our kitchen. We plan next to use him in our bathroom and butler's pantry! Fantastic to work with!

After visiting several well known kitchen and bath firms in the St. Louis metro area, I followed a suggestion from our custom builder, Chris Bednarek of C&S Custom Builders, and called Jeff Carapella of Custom Wood Products. Jeff offered quality cabinet choices, design guidance, and personal service all within a reasonable price range. He will work with one's own designer or architect without being obstructive. We love the high quality cabinets and his help with counter top and backsplash choices was priceless. Jeff was more than patient as I tend to work the deisgn process full circle a couple of times around just to make sure it is really what I want to live with for many years; re-arraging the layout, moving from wood tones, to paint colors, to white and back again. Enough to drive most crazy but he understood. Jeff was very helpful with the process. White was the final choice as our kitchen area receives a grey light in the late afternoon and I wanted the area to remain fresh and bright looking late in the day and winter months. I did not want too yellow or too grey a shade of white. This meant looking and searching for the perfect "white" which Jeff found in the end. The result is happy, fresh and just what I wanted. It is a timeless design.
