This Reston Virginia Condo remodel required us to bring every room up to date. We provided the new wood plank laminate flooring with a cork underlayment for maximum comfort and sound absorption. The client requested that we turn the second bedroom into an office space. We lined the wall with semi-custom cabinetry, a new ceiling fan and a built out custom closet to store books and office supplies. The adjacent bathroom shower walls and floors are lined with polished marble floor tile and new chrome plumbing fixtures. The new grey vanity and quartz counters compliment the new grey zigzag accent marble tile. The master bedroom received a full overhaul as well including a custom velvet headboard lined with espresso wood, new nightstands and dresser, 2 new pendant lamps in front of the new espresso wall mirrors. We were sure to incorporate new LED lighting throughout the condo including smart home enabled Wi-Fi controlled lighting.

Sealant applied to sashes and wood epoxy applied to decayed wood bottom corner. Sealant will prevent the absorption of water and prolong the paint life. Epoxy is structurally strong and will not crack or separate.

We installed a high-temperature self-adhering membrane under this roof to protect the decking from heat absorption. These membranes are typically vapor impermeable and since they are fully-adhered to the substrate and to adjacent sheets at side and end laps, they resist air pressure differentials and serve as an effective air barrier material. While all metal roofs have higher reflective qualities than other roofing materials, darker metals really shine in the winter months for their heat absorption qualities.

This dedicated theater includes acoustic energy absorptive upholstered walls, extensive use of natural cherry wood and FLW highlights.

Three hundred yards of sheers were custom printed with my own hieroglyphic design and over drapes were added for warmth and sound absorption. The 1890’s English occasional chair was ebonized and reupholstered in a rich Thai silk.
