O artista plástico Ronaldo Cazuza fez a arte a mão-livre.

Innovative and modern, the Stressless E200 is more beautiful than you can imagine and more comfortable than you can conceive. In addition to the design and quality that Stressless sofas are famous for, the E200 is equipped with the Stressless patented ErgoAdapt® system. Created by Stressless, ErgoAdapt allows the cushion of the sofa to tilt down automatically the moment you take a seat placing your body in the perfect sitting position. The brilliance of ErgoAdapt is that if you prefer to lie down on your sofa, the cushion automatically elevates to a flat position, placing your body in the perfect lying position. The simple lines and classic proportions make the E200 the choice of those who want the very best of contemporary Scandinavian design. With the Stressless E200 you can choose between different back cushions and get your own combination of colors and upholstery in fabric or leather.
The soft back-cushion is filled with a mix of ripped foam and down, which shapes to give you optimum support while sitting on the sofa. As with all down cushions, you need to regularly plump them back into shape, and fabric back cushions should also be turned regularly.

These clients debated moving from their dated 1979 house but decided to remodel since they loved their neighborhood and location of their home. We did a whole house interior and exterior remodel for them and they are so happy with their decision. The homeowners felt that reading floorplans was not so easy, so they loved our ability to provide 3D renderings and our personal touches and suggestions from our in-house designers.
The general layout of the home stayed the same with a few minor changes. We took the 38 year old home down to the studs and transformed it completely. The only thing that remains unchanged is the address. The popcorn texture was removed from the ceiling, removed all soffits, replaced all cabinets, flooring and countertops throughout the home. The wet bar was removed from the living room opening the space. The kitchen layout remained the same, but the cook surface was moved. Unneeded space was removed from the laundry room, giving them a larger pantry.
The master suite remained the same but additional lighting was added for reading. We made major improvements in the master bath by adding a rain shower, more storage and a bench to their new shower and gave them a larger bathtub.
All new cedar siding was replaced on the exterior of the home and a fresh coat of paint makes this 1979 home look brand new!

In every project we complete, design, form, function and safety are all important aspects to a successful space plan.
For these homeowners, it was an absolute must. The family had some unique needs that needed to be addressed. As physical abilities continued to change, the accessibility and safety in their master bathroom was a significant concern.
The layout of the bathroom was the first to change. We swapped places with the tub and vanity to give better access to both. A beautiful chrome grab bar was added along with matching towel bar and towel ring.
The vanity was changed out and now featured an angled cut-out for easy access for a wheelchair to pull completely up to the sink while protecting knees and legs from exposed plumbing and looking gorgeous doing it.
The toilet came out of the corner and we eliminated the privacy wall, giving it far easier access with a wheelchair. The original toilet was in great shape and we were able to reuse it. But now, it is equipped with much-needed chrome grab bars for added safety and convenience.
The shower was moved and reconstructed to allow for a larger walk-in tile shower with stylish chrome grab bars, an adjustable handheld showerhead and a comfortable fold-down shower bench – proving a bathroom can (and should) be functionally safe AND aesthetically beautiful at the same time.

The Lighting was selected by the client and refinished to coordinate with the new color scheme. The foot prints from the previous to new are very similar, just a few minor adjustments to make cabinets more functional for cooking, and improve storage.
The whole desk area was custom cabinets designed specifically to address the clients usage and organizational needs. cubbies, file drawers, wine storage, shallow pencil wide drawer, garage to hide landing space for briefcase, phones, etc.

Modern Spanish Hacienda architecture home with a mix of old world Spanish and mid century design aesthetic throughout the home. The custom kitchen has clean lines paired with modern appliances and old world Spanish accents which pairs handsomely with the custom clay pavers and linen grout of the flooring throughout. The custom alder wood cabinetry is painted farrow & ball Hague Blue with the exposed bevel sanded back down to its natural wood with very subtle hints of the blue showing through (sadly the professional photographs do not do this kitchen any justice!) and the custom alder wood island have heavy brass rings separating the massive leg sections. Absolutely amazing in person!

Our clients wanted to increase the size of their shower, omit their whirlpool tub and make better use of the open floor space in their master bathroom. Designer Barbara Bircher, CKD, moved and removed walls to open up the master bath and enlarge the master closet. Pocket doors were used to eliminate door interference with storage accessibility.
Barbara created two separate vanity stations for him and her. Rotating the toilet created a more spacious water closet concept while maintaining privacy. The shower was relocated and enlarged to include a bench, which continues under the window and houses individual hampers drawers. This new design included a linen closet tucked in nicely behind the shower. For those of you who are on the fence about removing a whirlpool tub, Steve and Mindy both agree they do not miss their whirlpool tub in any way!!

Check out this recently completed @alohahomes infill we had the absolute pleasure of being a part of! This home is gorgeous throughout and has a beautifully finished legal lower level suite, complete with it’s own separate entrance. It just hit the market and the location is sublime. Nestled on a quiet Inglewood street with mature trees and quick access to a ton of fabulous amenities, the setting is ideal.
