Vintage architecture meets modern-day charm with this Mission Style home in the Del Ida Historic District, only two blocks from downtown Delray Beach. The exterior features intricate details such as the stucco coated adobe architecture, a clay barrel roof and a warm oak paver driveway. Once inside this 3,515 square foot home, the intricate design and detail are evident with dark wood floors, shaker style cabinetry, a Estatuario Silk Neolith countertop & waterfall edge island. The remarkable downstairs Master Wing is complete with wood grain cabinetry & Pompeii Quartz Calacatta Supreme countertops, a 6′ freestanding tub & frameless shower. The Kitchen and Great Room are seamlessly integrated with luxurious Coffered ceilings, wood beams, and large sliders leading out to the pool and patio. Robert Stevens Photography

Eclectic bathroom photo in Salt Lake City

Bob and Kate's own residence was built in 2000 in the Santa Rosa neighborhood in downtown Tucson. We pushed the residence to one side of a small urban lot to create a large courtyard between the house and an adjacent antique (ca. 1911) adobe guesthouse. The main entry is into the courtyard to create the feeling of an outdoor room. The interior of the residence is mainly a single "great room" with a gable ceiling, with bedrooms and bathrooms off of that. Contemporary elements are fused with a somewhat traditional form to create an eclectic modern barrio home.

This original 1970's master bedroom suite was transformed into a very exciting and unique southwestern design. In the Master bath we chose a double slipper copper tub, saguaro cactus for the vanity bases with custom copper sinks, and a parota wood slab for the counter and back splash acquired in Mexico by Casa Mexicana Imports. Artobrick wall tiles were designed with hand picked colors and patterns. The barn door for closing the space between bedroom and bath was antique Mexican paneled door we upholstered bathroom view side with a Sunbrella fabric Pendleton design and framed it in leather. The Adobe fireplace and custom shelf unit in the master bedroom were added, Custom paint for the walls in the bath and the Master bedroom ceilings. Hickory wood flooring was used for the bedroom, which tied in well with the natural saguaro cactus wood tones.

Inspiration for a southwestern exterior home remodel in Albuquerque

In the hills North of Santa Fe, New Mexico. A friend and client bought this wonderful older home with beautiful 360 degree views. The problem was the home was dark and outdated, especially the Kitchen, Entry and bathrooms. Our objective was to hold true to Santa Fe style while updating and brightening the home inside and out. The result was stunning.

This beautiful modern home is particularly special to the team at Boss Builders who collaborated with Archaeo Architects throughout the project. The result is a modern showpiece with exquisite details and finishes. The home’s spine connects multiple structures that compose the home. On the east side of the spine are the garage, entry and three ensuite guestrooms; to the west are the kitchen, great room and den. The individual living spaces are connected by a bright, sloping ramp mirroring the natural topography of the ridge. This contemporary home captures beautiful natural views and the clerestory windows bring in the radiant, New Mexico light. The street view of this home is absolutely stunning, showcasing its unique architecture.
