The bottom line is we got MORE than we expected…within $54 of our budget… and finished ON TIME! And we actually ENJOYED it! They renovated our 1951 ranch home in Middletown. Our goal was to create a kitchen that was bigger & better connected to the rest of the house to allow us to have a welcoming gathering space for our family. Also on our list was a powder room, mudroom and a first floor laundry room. (We ended up with a walk-in pantry that we are so glad to have!) It was important to us that the design to be seamless with the style of our house & not “cookie cutter” & we knew we’d found the perfect company to accomplish all of this with Bailey Design + Build. We were able to live in the house throughout the process & we appreciated that there was substantial daily progress. Never one day wondering “where IS everyone?” They hit every date on the schedule (that we had access to through a portal) & it was impressive! On top of that, our home was kept so clean and organized. Having the same project manager on site every day is KEY. Wes kept us in the loop, is an excellent communicator, considerate & competent. A big consideration for us was having design help. This service being in-house made so much sense to us. The talented drafting team paired with skilled design work (and hand-holding through vendor appointments) by Christy Maser set the foundation beforehand & allowed for them to provide a realistic timeline and budget. I would say what we didn’t know we needed-that made the whole thing come together-was a project manager that was on-site all day, every day. Wes became like part of the family. He was upbeat, organized, skilled, respectful of our home & a great communicator. I could say more about others but you don’t have the time for all that! The people we met were such a pleasant surprise in the process & ENJOY their work. Brandon Bailey has built a well-oiled machine that includes top tier subs that just do amazing work. All through the process, every sub & vendor would mention how good Bailey was and that we'd made a great choice. “No one does it like Bailey”, we heard over and over. Knowing that we were getting ready to spend a lot of money on improving our home, we didn’t want to risk it with someone that we weren’t completely confident in & trusted. Such a positive experience for us! Words that come to mind are creativity, trust, punctual, efficiency, collaboration, patience, respect (of us/our home/each other/the subs), organization, flexibility & great communicator/listeners. They truly operate guided by their company core values. They will be our only call for future projects.

At Bailey Design+Build, they say that they pursue excellence in everything they do....and they totally achieve it!!! From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, the whole renovation process of turning our old, 1962 half bathroom into a modern full bathroom was absolutely wonderful. They took the time to listen to what we were wanting to achieve with the space, then set us up with a designer to develop a plan to make our dream a reality. The care they took in assuring that the rest of our home stayed clean during the renovation process was amazing. Our project manager was on sight every day to assure that all work was properly performed, and to address any issues that arose during demolition and construction. And one of the best things was that we didn't have to be on sight for any of it, as the day's work was uploaded into an app so that at any time, we could see not only what was done, but what was on the schedule for the next day and next week. Our renovation was finished 8 days ahead of schedule, and right on budget. For anyone desiring a renovation project that is done with great communication, high quality work, and a worry-free process where everything is taken care of for you, Bailey's Design+Build is definitely the company to hire!

This company remodeled our bathroom- I would NOT recommend them. They promised to finish the job at a later date... Good luck getting calls returned from this company.

Bailey provided an exceptional experience on our first and second floor remodel from start to finish. At the initial meeting to discuss the scope of the project, they took the time to listen to needs and concerns and offered helpful suggestions. They clearly communicated their process and timelines. Katharine, Amy, and the team offered valuable ideas for both space planning and design. Jesse and Josh, the project managers, were always available for questions and concerns and were quick to respond with answers and solutions. Bailey can be trusted to produce quality work and an outstanding result. We would not hesitate to work with them again on any project.

Bailey Remodeling was outstanding from start to finish. They treated my home with respect and the project was completed on time and within budget. Some minimal hiccups along the way but they handled and addressed them. Not sure how this could have gone better.

Our addition/remodel project with Bailey was by far the best experience we ever had. Bailey had a dedicated project manager for our project. Absolute Game Changer! Daily communication through Buildertrend software and face to face discussion. The selection process was seamless and actually a lot of fun! Plus the project was completed within a week of the scheduled date. What a great construction experience!

I can not say enough how wonderful it was working with Bailey Remodeling. I had a big project and a short timeline and Caleb made sure things stayed on schedule. I never had to worry about the schedule or when things were going to be done. I never had a surprise when it came to cost or timeline. Refreshing

We hired Bailey Remodeling to complete a mudroom and laundry room addition to our home in early 2020. Overall, we were satisfied with the experience and the work they did. The subcontractors did quality work and the project only took about a week longer than it was supposed to. Our only issue with Bailey Remodeling has to do with the contract negotiations with Brandon Bailey. During our very first meeting, he tried to pressure us to reveal how much we were willing to spend (we told him to give us his price first). At the next meeting, he had already written a dollar amount on the paperwork. It was more than we wanted to spend so we had to cross it out and lower the amount. My advice is that when you meet with Brandon, beware of his sales tactics and hold firm on your budget. Otherwise you will spend more than you should on the project.

We would highly recommend Bailey Remodeling & Construction. From the initial visit with Brandon, to the final walk though with the team, working with Bailey was a seamless process. The plan was formed after collaboratively meeting and then flawlessly executed. Every member of the team was easy to work with, professional and it was just a wonderful experience all around! We LOVE our new space!

Our main concern was staying on our timeline & budget. Bailey did a great job planning ahead & there were very few issues not planned for. Everything is beautiful & we were thrilled with everything being at least on schedule, if not a few days ahead. They actually finished a week early!!

My wife and I hired Bailey Remodeling to remodel our master bathroom, finish an outdoor patio and re-work our living area in the fall of 2019. From start to finish, they were on-time, within budget and met all of our expectations. The best thing about Bailey is their people. Everyone there is hardworking, friendly, and responsive. They do what they say they're going to do, when they say they're going to do it. During the initial meeting it was mentioned that they hoped we, as their customers, would view the renovation project as a collaborative approach. As the final touches are now being completed we can say that this goal was most certainly accomplished. Throughout the entire process open dialogues ensued as to what our desires were, how to best accomplish them and even tweaking the plan during renovation when a better idea became apparent. There are obstacles in any remodel. When a few arose, they were incredible in working with us to determine the best solution. So many people remodeling can't wait for the builder to get out of their homes or they are no longer on friendly terms. It was the opposite with Bailey Remodeling & Construction, LLC. We were in no hurry for them to be done and we would use them again if we did another remodeling project in the future; which is a reflection that from the planning stage all the way down to the punch list, everybody truly wanted our project to go smoothly and wanted us to be happy with our "new" home.

From the first meeting we had with Brandon, we knew Bailey Remodeling was the company for our addition. We love the overall layout of our new bathroom and the fact that it resolved all of the frustrations we had with our previous bathroom. The current layout makes much better use of the space we have available. We even got to keep our current vanity which we love and looks great in the new space. From a process perspective, the team was as inconspicuous as they could reasonably be given the location of the work. They came and went without additional help and kept to a reasonable schedule. It was always nice to speak with Peter, John, or Brandon but it was also great to know that they were self-sufficient and moving the project forward without our daily involvement.

We are very satisfied with our experience and have already recommended these guys to friends. We had a deck out back that was unusable as it was too hot to sit on in the summer and the deck boards were falling apart. Brandon and his design team came up with a great design for a covered outdoor living space that has room that has a fireplace, tv, family room area and dining area in the screened in part. There is an area outside the screening for my grill and a few chairs. They used composite decking and the entire area will require limited maintenance for years to come. Our project manager, Cory, was great with communication and keeping the job site clean. Like I said before, I have already been recommending them to my friends!

We've heard that remodeling always takes longer and costs more than whatever the original plan may be-- this turned out to be true in our case, but the professionalism showed by the team made a difficult timeline manageable. There is no doubt that they tried every option to keep the job running smoothly with excellent final results. Our Project Manager, Peter, was thoughtful and creative when making suggestions. Several of his ideas turned out to be exactly what we would want, but didn't know were possible. I would not only use Bailey remodeling again, I would specifically request Peter to oversee the next project.

Brandon Bailey was very professional, knowledgeable and very willing to listen to my ideas for the project and concerns. His communication skills were excellent from the beginning and before the project began, all my concerns were addressed and a detailed calendar of the work to be done was presented to us. The cost was presented as well. Because the project was so well planned, the work was completed on schedule. The quality of the work was outstanding and the cost did not go up. Every person that worked at our house was courteous. The cleanliness, and attention to detail was amazing. We had access to talk to the people we needed to daily if concerns arose which they didn't and a call each Friday to make sure everything was going well. They finished the job one day early and we couldn't be happier.

On time, on schedule, and on budget. No mess or dust, and we always knew when they were scheduled to work and when they were not scheduled to work. We never wondered "I thought they were supposed to be here today?". Having undergone several remodels and constructions in the past, we were really impressed with their project management skills and professionalism. Superlatives are insufficient to describe the service we received from Mr. Bailey. He arrived on time to provide an evaluation and estimate for our kitchen remodel. He thoroughly surveyed the kitchen, took copious notes, asked succint, relevant questions, and concluded that based on our limited budget and remote location the job was not economically feasible (profitable) for his company to undertake. In other words, he brought us to earth with a lesson in reality. But there was much more he did for us. In describing our needs we told him we had ordered a new refrigerator. We showed him the specs and without our asking he measured the location for the refrigerator. Low and behold, the opening was too small. Mr. Bailey volunteered to remove a cabinet for us so that we could properly situate the appliance, promptly did so (the removal was quick but not easy), and wanted no more than our thanks for his effort. More than that, he then recommended two nearby remodelers who were a proper fit for our project. What an extraordinary experience! It's one we won't forget, and it gives me great pleasure to recommend Mr. Bailey's company. He is smart, energetic, generous and honest. What more could anyone want in a business negotiation. Thank you many times over.

We hired Bailey Remodeling to remodel 4 bathrooms in our house. We opted to do it in 2 phases to make it easier to survive the experience so we weren't left without a working bathroom ever. During the first phase, we did have an issue with the tile installer, but he was removed from the project when it became apparent that he wasn't getting the job done. This caused our project to run over the original schedule. There were a few other issues along the way, but we could tell that the gang at Bailey was committed to making us happy so we decided to hire them to come back to do phase 2 this past Winter. I'm happy to report that the second set of bathrooms went much smoother and we had more of the experience that we were anticipating the first time! Bailey did a nice job of quantifying the cost and schedule aspects of the overall project delivery so that a mutual expectation was developed It is clear the Bailey sheds the typical contractor stereotypes by transparent engagement with their clients. Really made a lasting impression of a company with character.

We appreciated Brandon spending a great deal of time getting to know us and getting to know our house. By the end of the first meeting, we could all tell that we could work together. I cannot say enough good things about Peter our project manager. He was very professional, level headed (there wasn't a single issue that he couldn't handle), understood and communicated the pros and cons of possible changes, was very trustworthy, and did a fantastic job of keeping the job on track. We really enjoyed working with him! Bailey Remodeling is a very professional group and I will use them again for any future remodeling.

It seems like almost everyone I know who has gone through a remodeling project has a horror story. The project went way over budget. A four month remodel turned into an eight month remodel. The contractor never showed up on time. The finishes were sub-par, etc. After our recent kitchen, den and basement remodel with Bailey Remodeling and Construction LLC, I can honestly say that I have the first remodeling success story on record. Not only was the remodel absolutely beautiful, but Brandon and the Bailey crew made sure that our project was completed by the projected finish date and on budget (all additional expenses were approved in advance). There are three factors that set Bailey Remodeling apart 1) their intelligent staff 2) their strong work ethic and 3) their high level of organization. Our on-site coordinator made sure that all of our questions were answered and the contractors showed up on time. Although there are always going to be hiccups in any renovation (our house was build in 1942!), we could count on open communication for any cost overruns or changes. I met with Brandon to discuss a possible entire 1st floor remodel. We had a long list of issues we wanted to address with an idea of a budget we were willing to put into the house w/o having any idea if it could be done for that amount of money. We were trying to decide if we could get those issues resolved, then we would stay in our current home. Brandon was very thorough with his line of questions and really listened to our concerns. In the end, we decided that we would rather put that money toward building a new home rather than having more in our home than we would ever get out of it when we went to sell a few years down the road. Brandon's knowledge and time was very valuable to us in helping us come to that decision. Even though we didn't use him, I am certain his attention to detail would have shown through in the work.

We were concerned about the best way to configure our bathroom, but Bailey did an excellent job presenting us with several great options to select from. We've had remodels done in Chicago and Miami and they didn't come close to the professionalism and end product of Bailey Remodeling. We started by wanting a new master bath when we purchased our home in Louisville. During the initial discussion with Bailey, we talked of our ideas of having wood floors on our first floor, new built-ins in the living room and painting throughout the first floor. Bailey said they could do it all! Everyone we worked with kept us within budget and delivered on time. We had schedules and were kept apprised of where things were heading all the way through. We did a complete remodel of the master bathroom. Bailey Remodeling helped to create the design based on our ideas. They directed us to the vendors that would provide the materials we desired in the price range we agreed upon. As an architect in the Louisville area, I've had a lot of experience working with different contractors. For me I always walk away from the job site really impressed with Bailey Remodeling's approach to the construction process while providing a great product.
