Handmade in England by Vispring mattress company, the Victoria mattress, headboard, and foundation have been introduced as a limited edition and as a great value. The Victoria mattress has 1680 hand-nested coils with Shetland wool, British wool, cotton, and a generous amount of British horsetail hair. Horsehair is a superb fiber that provides unparalleled springiness to ensure optimum air circulation, thereby maximizing comfort during sleep. The divan has over 1300 hand-nested coils.

Capturing the front view of the oversized island bench fitted with three timber-topped black metal bar stools, this area serves as a casual breakfast nook and social interaction spot for residents. Tall floor-to-ceiling white cabinets and a dedicated open niche are designed for pantry storage and fridge embedding, maximising vertical wall space utilisation. Consistent upper light wood cabinets maintain unified facade style, and the nearby glass access door links the kitchen to outdoor yards, improving indoor air circulation and space permeability for New Zealand home lifestyles.

In addition to designing these lovely hardscapes, we also brought our talents as Akron’s premier porch builder to this project. The gable roof features a decorative end detail while its opening increases air circulation in the space. The interior features a beautiful knotty pine ceiling. And what would a covered porch or patio be without a ceiling fan? We also installed recessed can lights in the ceiling so the homeowners can enjoy the space after dark. For additional convenience, we integrated electrical wiring into one of the stone (paver) columns and added an electrical outlet.

After removing an old wooden deck and re-sealing the roof membrane, we installed a low maintenance porcelain paver floor on a pedestal system to increase drainage, air circulation and overall weight dispersion of the garden elements. We fabricated custom cedar planter boxes with a cedar and steel railing to add height for increased safety. As you enter the space, the focal point of the garden is a sleek, modern water feature with a pretty Mexican pebble and tigerwood base. The unique outdoor kitchen is comprised of Tigerwood, cedar and stainless hardware. Tigerwood cladding on the door of an existing stand alone grill, creates the illusion of a built in grill, with beautiful cedar countertops on either side. Our RCA barn designs are all pre-engineered wooden kits that make barn raising quicker and easier! The Sierra Monitor combines the traditional look of an RCA barn with the low roof pitch commonly seen in the southern states. A raised center aisle accommodates clerestory windows for additional light, better air circulation and increased ventilation.

This patio worked off an existing brick patio, one of the few elements that remained after an extensive redo of the house and landscaping. Bluestone patio includes a cozy dining area, space for grilling and also a seating area and fire bowl for cool evenings. An outdoor fan on the arbor was installed for air circulation and to keep any unwanted mosquitoes at bay. We are looking to redefining the region's former architecture, which needs protection, into today's language. Unique properties: Extroverted architecture is a solution that is necessary to respond to the hot and humid climate of the location of this project. But in Iranian culture, introverted architecture is unavoidable therefore, in this residential apartment where several families live together and also have common spaces, providing a response to introversion and extroversion at the same time has been considered. Description: Extreme use of the porch refers to the deep structures of the Iranian Architecture The "primitive cottage", which is a favorite of the residents of this small town, when converted into a contemporary apartment, must include several basic spaces to implement the residential scenario. Private and semi-private balconies are the most important of those spaces. Extensive vista is the potential of this project. because in addition to the forest view from the south and the beach view on the north side, the other two sides of the project have a unique view due to their height from the city. Therefore, the location and type of openings affect the quality of the space. Each space has a pleasant view, light and proper air circulation. Roofed and non-roofed yards equally divided at different levels. These independent courtyards in the vertical surfaces seen as a vertical and integrated garden in the urban context. CHALENGE: The value that the project pursues is to answer: How contemporary architecture can be faithful to culture, nature and context? How architecture can affect the audience without showing off? this challenge arose for us when we noticed that the surrounding new buildings had nothing to do with local architecture except for adhering to a form such as a sloping roof. Audience tastes have also gone in a direction that is not compatible with contextual factors. So having a few touches of culture and context can be a turning point in the contemporary architecture of this Small scale area.
