This project blends warm wood with industrial style concepts for a result that transcends typical modern minimalism. Created with a visionary architect and builder, the four-level structure features thick solid oak treads with extended noses that float against finished poplar stringers. Open risers preserve light flow from the adjacent wall of windows. A horizontal stainless steel rod balustrade system flows from the lower-level recreation room to the fourth-level rooftop deck, creating visual continuity across the home's entire vertical span. This Mid-Century Modern renovation features a light palette with a bold accent wall and custom barn door. Our Atlanta studio added new furniture and changed the flooring as well. All the cabinetry and countertops in the kitchen are new. A highly accomplished 15-year old boy needed a new bedroom that doubled as a place to work on his various projects and display space for his many awards. We used Rustoleum Magnetic primer under Whiteboard Paint to make a place where he could work out his ideas. LUME Photography

Starting from a blank canvas with a completely empty shell, the Gonyea Transformations team transformed this spacious garage into a sleek, luxurious personal retreat. The garage now boasts ample space for our client to showcase their cars, as well as entertain friends in the loft with a full bar and lounge. Some stunning details include a beautiful cable railing that leads to the loft, a walnut accent wall that adds additional architectural interest and works as a privacy barrier and entertainment center, and a notable bar with diamond plate details, thoughtful lighting, and the clients’ own “Lamborghini” sign to create a cohesive look within the whole garage condo.
